Daniel 11 speaks of a king from the north taking his army and invading area of the South.

Is Russia invading Ukraine the beginning of that fulfillment?

Armies have been marching north and south ever since. Daniel is clearly looking forward to conflicts within the Persian empire and with its neighbours. I don't believe it is speaking directly of Russia / Ukraine events today.

Mat 24:6 NKJV - "And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

It looks like Russia has amassed more then 100,000 troops along the border with Ukraine. Not the first time. They did the same last year as well.

Russia is standing up for the large Russian speaking people of eastern and southern Ukraine who have been subjected to extreme anti-Russian legislation and cultural attacks by the ruling
ultra-nationalists who gained power through the Maidan revolution of 2013/14 - they passed legislation forbidding Russian as an official language for any government services or business.
Likewise these cultural attacks against significant minorities also were directed against Hungarian speaking Ukrainians in the Transcarpathia region of western Ukraine -
"Hungary says it will protest to the EU over a new law that limits the teaching of subjects in languages of Ukraine's ethnic minorities, including Hungarian.
Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said he would urge foreign ministers next Monday to revise the EU's partnership deal with the Ukraine." - BBC news

As far as the Minsk Agreements are concerned, I believe for whatever reason they are no longer valid.

So, you believe that Russia should attack the Ukraine or has the right to?

They are still valid. and are at the heart of the problem for Russia.
As for Biden and Boris stirring up the threat of reds under the beds is solely for domestic politics.

Dear Waggles,
Takes two to tango. Meaning it's no longer valid, if one side no longer agrees with the tenets of said agreement, even though the other side still does.
There in is the problem. Both sides must agree to the validity of said agreement even if they no longer abide by the resolution found therein.

The Geo-Politics involved here will also be exacerbated by other world players, i.e., US, UK, European Union, China, etc. Each looking for an advantage from what could easily become a life costing endeavor on the parts of Russia/Ukraine.

Daniel 11 was so well closely fulfilled prior to Jesus, that academics believe it was written afterwards...

The way it was written, you couldn't understand what the chapter actually described until afterwards. This was of course, by design.

But 2000 years later we read it and can't understand it either, because the kingdoms it describes no longer exist.

There are dozens of websites offering similar content regarding who the king of the south and north were. Keep in mind there could be several options, as the chapter's fulfillment covers close to 300 years. Think of it as a chapter written not to prove to us that Jesus is the messiah, but to prove to the Jews that Daniel bore witness. Today we can point to the 70 weeks fulfillment as either the birth of Jesus or the birth of John the baptism. But when Jesus rebukes the pharisees for not knowing the times, it was Daniel 11 that they were counting down, they knew the messiah was going to show up to within the year. (but of course not the day or the hour)

The discrepancy of 7 years comes from the idea that the bible counts the years as 360 days, personally I don't buy it.

Let us not forget the Umbrella of The “Soviet Union”.
We have no problem with the umbrella of “United States America”. Many times states wanted to be of Their own sovereign.

I personally think such things are beyond us, and we really do not know the nature of this beast. I know one thing I do not want my sons dying for a once Soviet country. And only God knows what is under this dress.

Are we Willing to die for Ukraine. Send our soldiers to die, and to spend millions upon million of US dollars on Ukraine when our own house is in turmoil. Give that money to American households.

Take care of your own 1st.
Health care, housing care, we got people leaving on the streets. And abandon empty houses every where.

Get your own house in order 1st. Without one nail undone. Take care of your own people without delay.

This is why the judgement and wrath of God shall be poured out upon the Earth and all peoples.
Wickedness and evil in the hearts of men - particularly the wealthy and political elites that rule us little folks (peasants).
That thousands of millions of dollars are spent on armaments and warfare while most people in the world still do not have clean water and flush toilets, nor health care and doctors, nor adequate housing, nor food, nor schooling.
The wickedness of scheming a war in the Ukraine so as to prevent Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline from operating and delivering cheap gas to Germany is beyond moral comprehension.
Such wickedness shows that the lives of human beings (men, women and children) count for nothing - we are totally expendable for the machinations of ruling elites.

Washington has always played their wars in other people's backyards - the Arabs, the Asians, the Africans and so on - these people suffer war and destruction far from the cities and lives of U.S. Americans.
America likes to bomb countries that have no airforce or comparable military armaments and hardware.
And yet if I remember correctly the U.S.A. has not won a war since 1945. [- Iraq ?? Serbia ??]
But this time around Washington is not playing war with some lesser banana republic - now they are up against the second most power nuclear armed nation with a very comparable military might.
You are playing with the big boys now Washington. And if it does come to a war instigated by madmen in the swamp then Putin will surely bring this war home to the American mainland and your cities.
 
I expect Russia to invade around Feb 22 just after the games are over in China. There is no better time for Russia to invade with the President we have now! If we poke our nose in this China will then invade Tiwan and join forces with Russia against us,Euope is why to weak to help,and we will be on our own as usual! I see a long year for us,I hate to say that,but instead of excuses from this sorry President we need RESULTS!! We the people are so mad! For 6 rolls of toilet paper,I had to pay 19:95!! This is nuts!! Perhaps it is time for a reset for us all.

I agree that after the Olympics, if it's going to happen, is when it will. Also, the window of how much longer the ground is frozen over there is only going to last for a couple weeks more
-and Russia wants that for the heavy equipment to move easier.
