well hi there i cannot write you any matching bible verses right now as im reading this .. but i do wanna respond first thoughts and get back later if thats possible?

your writing this in HEALTH & FITNESS and asking if self-abuse is a sin . ..well its surely not doing your body ANY good and so its not in God*s interest that you would do that to yourself or whoever you know is doing this to him/herself

if you consider drugs, cutting, prostitution, alcohol, overly eating habits, anorexia and many other things that come to my mind are not any good for your body . . .

all this is already self-abuse!

So if its not right or good in Gods eyes . . .treat it like sin and turn away from it Ask God to forgive you for past steps you have taken and ask Him for His love and strength to overcome through His Holy Son Jesus Christ Amen

Are you harming yourself by cutting, burning or in some other way? This is an outward expression of all the pain you are carrying inside. God understands why you do it. He sees the turmoil and shame inside of you. He wants to help, if you will let Him. So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. …What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God--through Jesus Christ our Lord!" (Romans 7:18-24).
