Is there a consolidated list of Christian music here?

Secondary, WHY is so much music clones of or so repetitive and boring?
God made us amazing beings. Our mind and imagination are almost limitless.
Most of Christian music is bland, boring, and repetitive. Saying the same "praise verse" 8 times in a row isn't music nor praise nor innovative.
I find Mercy Me "I Can Only Imagine" to be one of the best modern Christian songs.
"Will the Circle Be Unbroken?" is one that is over 100 years old and has been done in different ways.
Given how many Christian artists there are the results aren't good.

I would say probably because many follow a certain template when making songs.

Whether it is in the structure (verse, chorus, verse, bridge, etc), or similar melodic
leads, or even common well known chord progressions (especially on the choruses).
Over time it gets harder and harder to be more innovative. And often times perhaps
when many get mainstream, they likely stop being as creative, or perhaps less spirit-led
as they start having their music creation be more of a business, rather than a spontaneous
and free act of worship. Therefore they play it safe by using common song compositions
which they think will appeal to the audience, rather than being risky and having their music
not make sales.

Great question that you put out.

Which is why often for me, I try not to force music composition and try to compose
when I feel the Spirit flowing.

As I do have music education, I try to consider the 8 basic elements
of music when composing to try to make newer compositions sound each unique.

So if musicians are able to changes these elements below, that is one way to help sounds be different.
