no, not really.
We don't upload images but images can be linked to or 'uploaded' from some sites.
There is a little purple looking icon above the place you write your posts. It is for inserting an image, which you need a URL for.
You can use Control+P combination if you use a keyboard, in order to get the pop-up to insert the URL to, or simply select/click on the small icon described.
