Is this a form of Racism? BBC

We first should define Racism.

To do so let us define discrimination, which is " the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things
giving someone unfair treatment."

You can discriminate based on sex, age, political affiliation, etc.
When you discriminate based on race, that is racism.

Racism is often rooted in the thought that one race is superior to another.

So we should ask the question, "Is the action taken against this women, one that was based on a thought
that her race is inferior or someone is superior to her?"

It doesn't seem to be the case. It seems that the agency feels that her behaviors are representative of type of prejudice
which they do not want represented in their staff. Many agencies have moral codes of conduct. If her behavior presents
her in the light of one who is prejudice based on race, I can see why the agency would not want to promote that.

However I would not recommend firing her, but perhaps cultural sensitivity training if that was their thought. But we live
in a culture in which most people and corporations don't act based on what they think is true but to either go with the
crowd, or what gets the most money, or what avoids bad publicity. So I think she was fired because she made the company look bad, which
I think it is wrong that they fired her.

She was not discriminated against based on her race, but based on her actions which made her job look bad. If any other
member of any race had done it (Hispanic, Asian, etc) they likely would have been fired also.

Thus is it not racism because she is not being treated different than anyone else. She is being treated based on her actions and in
a consistent (maybe not fair) manner in which everyone else who did the same actions would have been treated.

Ok, i understand what you are saying. But i do also understand this, She knows for sure about 95% plus, that making a call statement "a BLK male is threatening me, a white woman", when the police get there, They are going shoot first and then the dead man is going have to prove he was innocent!

Notice: she said: " a African-American", and i know for sure, she can read and she knows the Cavalry will be coming with blazing fire!!!! She knows for a fact they shoot black men quick!!! But you want to give her "community service" with pay and a talk show for making that kinda call.

Oooh I misinterpreted your question.
I thought you were saying in the OP that they were too hard on her, no I understand you are saying they were too easy on here.

I agree with what you said in the quote above. My response was based on a false assumption of where you position was.
Thanks for clarifying. Much Love.
