Is this an Evil Subject for Christians?

Hi, all! This may be a long one so hang tight...My whole life, regardless of where I've moved (and that's been quite a few places), almost every single place has been haunted. Most of these places were in Georgia and I already know about the "ghosts" and scattered burial grounds. The only place I've lived in that I do recall not being haunted was in SoCal. Over the past few days, I have noticed that my already haunted apartment unit (yes, in Georgia) has been a little more dark, literally and figuratively speaking. There's been bigger and darker shadows, attacks on the soul by a couple of other family members whom I live with, nightmares, growling voices, light outages in particular rooms and even more.
I tried figuring out why the presences have been stronger and more frequent than usual. I began to blame it on myself for a moment there but I doubt it. The reason why I blamed myself is because of a subject in particular I have been studying recently. I realized back in April of this year that I kept hearing the same song on the radio since 2013, regardless of the city, state, or station. So I finally thought to ask the Lord why and I ended up on Google so I figured that'd be my answer from Him. I saw these words that closely resembled my situation, words such as 'Angel Numbers,' 'Synchronicity,' 'Soulmates,' and 'Twin Flames,'. After that, I began to see the number sequence 11:11 a lot and I wondered why I kept seeing it so often while no one else around me did not. According to my research, 11:11 means that Angels are watching over me and also while researching, I was eventually led to a few quizzes (silly, I know) that told me I already know my soulmate and/or twin flame. Basically, I've been studying this subject every since I have had those research sessions because I personally feel it is my answer from the Lord. I'm just a little confused, though, because when I look at certain websites like Quora.com, I see a blend of innocent things like Angel numbers blended with Psychic subjects, spiritual awakening and Twin Flames; the way I was bought up is anything that has to do with Psychics or Mediums is evil so I steer clear away from those subjects. I even spoke with a family member the other morning who told me a couple of their experiences they had a few moments beforehand, too, and they referred to spiritual warfare.
My whole question overall is, did I bring upon the evil with my 'research' or did it just suddenly decide to spend more time on my family and I for no reason?

I have lived in georgia, and still close enough to it, to commute to it for work 4 days a week. I sense no more than the usual spirits around. Perhaps you are bringing the spirits with you where you move, and there was something special about SoCal that kept them from staying with you there.

The bible describes demons attracted to people (Matt 12:45) more than places. The bible describes the fate of the dead before Jesus as either at rest (1 Sam 28:15) or in torment (Luke 16:28). After Jesus, people now have the option (if Christian) of being with the Lord (2 Cor 5:8).

Anecdotes of ghosts and hauntings are either intentionally fabricated for entertainment purposes (books, movies, TV shows), delusions of one kind or another, or fearful apprehensions of an active imagination.

The Christian should never have to worry about demonic forces;

1Jn 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

and "My people are destroyed because of lack of knowledge." There is much more to it than imagination. You lack knowledge on this subject.

Stephaniyah Fritz,I fully agree that there can be haunted places, I remember one nice lady went to a carnival and a Medium said here lady I wish to give you this ring for luck,she accepted it,and went back home,she took off the ring and placed it in her jewel box, after 2 days she forgot about it,but strange things started happening in her house,cupboard doors opened by themselves,her fridge at times did the same thing,so she came to our Church to talk about this. She did not mention a ring she got,but the Lord in me knew,and told me to ask her about what she received,so I did.

She asked me how I knew? I didn't I told her but Jesus in me put this in my mindset to ask. Then Holy Spirit gave me a verse to give to her.(Deuteronomy 7: 25-26) I told her to get rid of the ring,burn it or throw it in the trash,she followed my advice,and the problems stopped. I of course do not know you,but if you received something you cannot explain,I would get rid of it.This is just one possibility of course.

2.Most believers seek out the supernatural,without a guide( Holy Spirit) This is a very bad idea!! I consider myself in expert in this field,because I served the devil for many years,and went from one extreme to another. Jesus gave me certain gifts to aid the body of Christ,and as he wills I use them to his Glory! I am 68 years of age now,and a very strong believer in our Jesus! No brag!!! Just fact!( 1 Cor 1:18-31) verse 30-31!!

Fear is the driving force of the enemy,then he lies about it to you!! ( John 10:10,John 8:44) This is the two sides the enemy has. this is his very nature!! From my own experience dark shadows or shadowy figures are manifestations of evil spirits and demons. But they are not restricted to those manifestations. We are not to talk to the dead or spirits whatsoever, King Saul consulted a spirit medium to talk to the dead and it was considered sin. It opens doors to the demonic and deception.

The spirits one senses are not spirits of people (who have died) but evil spirits...When people die, their spirits go on to their eternal home, heaven or hell...but evil spirits do inhabit the deserted places, and places where they have been made welcome...Places where concentrated spirit activity occurred. These are NEVER human spirits but always evil and need to be avoided if you don't know how to handle the situation, or unless God specifically sends you there...
