Recently, I was just browsing through Google Images for some pictures for my research, I stumbled across this picture of a nude women in the sunlight. I looked at it and wondered if I was sinning even if I had no lustful thoughts in my head. Was I sinning there and then? Thanks for the help

Follow this guideline and you won't be looking and thus not wondering:

Php 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Php 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Php 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Have a blessed day,
brother Larry.

It depends on what you were thinking as you were looking at it, and what you were thinking after you looked at it.

Then my friend you are the exception and not the general rule!
Many blessings in Jesus Name,
your

I myself know when i am uncomfortable. I think you were because you posted for guidance. Maybe this will help I hope. I was in the grocery line today and saw a picture of the monthly cover of sports illustrated and was absolutely disgusted. I had them remove them from the shelves. It was right in my childrens face level. I think it is our duty to respond to this disgrace and keep our society somewhat moral. So many people shove this in our faces to make us "numb" to it. It has to stop. I will never get "use " to it.

Amen my friend. Corrupt modern culture is so overexposed to such things as to not even notice what would have been a real issue just 20 or 30 years ago.

Php 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Not for nothing, but the woman you looked at was nude, is not your wife and therefore you should not have look at her the split moment you realized she was nude. Why? Because you knew the picture was nude, and you still clicked on it to view the larger version in Google Images. Correct?

Point is, little things like this come from the devil. "Tiny" things like this go from "did not lust" to sin that easily leads to death.

So why take the chance by "peeking" so to speak? Is it worth your soul to risk?

Our MINDS record Everything. These thoughts can come again and again , too cause us to SIN!

That is Why we Must be very careful what we allow our eyes to see?

I know many might think, We can see anything and yet have full control over them ? This is not true !
Everything we see we record! Many wonder why I do not have a closer relationship with GOD , Yet fill these minds with evil things !

I looked at it and wondered if I was sinning even if I had no lustful thoughts in my head. Was I sinning there and then?

How much time did you spend looking, 10 seconds or 10 minutes? If 10 seconds, there was probably no lust. But, 10minutes?..............hmmm.

I think initially it wasn't a sin but is what happen after you saw it. You said you had no lustful thoughts nothing lingered on afterwards? But like the other say be careful for nothing small seeds start there.

Takes one look...to be hooked. Jesus clearly says that to lust in the heart is the same as adultery. And He says, not walk from, but run from it.
