Theres an awful lot of Christian websites saying it is. But the horsemen known as pestilence would be far more fatal than 2 percent of the infected dying. The mass media and social media have blown it out of all proportion and alot of evangelical Christian websites have too imo.

Lots of people like to speculate about a Lot of things when it comes to what is happening in the world events and what Scripture says.

Let's be honest about what's gong on with a lot of Christian websites.

They are run on a financial model that is based on advertising. The more views a page gets, the more the owners bring in advertising revenue.

So the impulse is always to post things that generate the most traffic. That's why you get meaningless and unhelpful articles stirring up speculation about the four horsemen of he apocalypse. It's just click bait masquerading as Christian discussion.

I'm not saying that we should not be discerning the signs of the times or prayerfully reflecting on the news and current affairs. Just beware that an awful lot of what is out there is junk, clogging up good thinking and action.

This is my suggestion for a better set of questions to be thinking about. Trust the scientists, statisticians and public policy advisors to do their jobs well and to contain and combat the virus. There's plenty of Christians working in these fields, lets pray for them.

What does our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ do to transform our outlook on this situation

+ What does faith in Jesus say about our tendency to fear in the face of the unknown.
+ How does trusting in Jesus change our view of sickness?
+ What practical difference does his victory over Death make in this situation?
+ What can we learn from Jesus' compassion, and how could we put that into practise?
+ We are inheritors of Faith, Hope and Love in troubled times. What do we have to say to an anxious world?

I'm sure that others could come up with more and better questions. If we really get to grips with these kinds of issues -- that go to close to the heart of the gospel -- we have an opportunity to offer life-giving hope to a troubled world.

Thanks guys. All these view point sum up alot. There have been so called Christians even making this claim to the point it's made it's way to international media. Social media has alot to answer for too.

The best thing too do is take on board what cdc has said. Wash your hands as often as possible. Don't touch your face while your out and about, and wash your hands as soon as you get home. All of you taken care.

There has been So Much hype about this virus thing. Plain flu bug over the years has been worse. It's So political it's Ridiculous. And sad.

I am just saying this, I suppose.
What about Luke 21:11 where it mentions "pestilences". I don't know if this one is the white horse one, probably not, but the Bible mentions pestilences band it doesn't say what the death percentage will be. This still could be one of the end timed signs. And it doesn't mean that Jesus is coming tomorrow. God counts time different than us. It might be a whole generation, or more , or less. The Bible doesn't tell us we will know the date. Remember when Noah was building the ark. Many people didn't pay attention to what he was saying. We need to look at the signs. Someone says it took him around 140 years to build that ark. This is some time. And when we see a sign of end times we want to see it happening the next day. I just suppose. All this anyway makes me to think. Maybe it is just the beginning. I really hope for them to find some solution for this virus. Our main hope anyway remains in Jesus.
Matthew 24:42

One thing for sure, when a plague or sort in the Bible came upon people, who sent it?

Well, certain plagues are sent by God, but I think that a lots of the troubles we have are caused by men too. We are so able destroy ourselves. God just prophesied this things will happen. As some of the pestilences discribed in Luke 21:11 for example or wars. We don't know if this virus is man made or no, nevertheless He can use this things to show us something.

Well, we as His children knows: Cannot nothing happen unless it is “ordained” by GOD. The world does not know that, we do. But one day the world will know, He will make it clear, that He is the one who commands the wind, the storms, the waters, and the plagues. When Jesus opens those “7 Seals”!
And many will still not repent, just like Pharaoh, when God sent the Plagues down through “Egypt”! God has not change.
