Islam and Idols

Islam in general both theologically and in practice hate idol worship which is good of course. But.... the greatest site that they have, is in mecca containing a rock that supposedly fell out of heaven. In Islam, its recommended that you visit this rock at least once in your life. The depictions of the people visiting it, has them circling around the building that covers the rock like a geometric pattern, kinda weird. And when they get to the opening in the building that lets them reach in with one hand and touch the rock, they do so. And only men are allowed to do so. Afterword and sometimes beforehand, they are all dreamy like and reverent.

How is this not idol worship? Thoughts on the matter?

At a more fundamental level. Muslims do not believe in the deity of Jesus. They don't believe in the Trinity. So, the "Allah" God they are worshipping, is a false God.

Islam is wrong on many levels, but I was specifically asking thoughts on the rock in mecca. They "say" there is only ONE God, and they promote worshipping Him alone, yet they do this, just wonder why the subject has never come up in any of the discussions about Islam. Seems pretty hypocritical to me according to their own beliefs.

And yeah, I did study Islam some, not in depth, but some. I see them as playing a major role in the end times, and not a good role either.

The moon is NOT a symbol of God.

Look at Islam's core beliefs/Pillars.
Evil.
Where did it come fromr? A butthurt, angry boy, Ishmael, who grew up and then Muhammed which had NO witnesses to anything of God or supernatural.

1. God would NEVER endorse or command child-brides. In fact, Mary was young but older than the 12-ish years people believe.
2. God would NEVER endorse having sex with animals. In Islam, after a Muslim man "finished" the goat/animal is to be killed immediately.
3. Christians do NOT kill people for refusing to become a Christian OR for leaving Christianity.

I could go on.
Every major religion has a symbol. The Cross is ours by an overwhelming majority.
Look at the rest.

If anyone reading this, has a "Coexist" belief you're not a Christian and know nothing of Islam.

To be specific, it was the symbol used by Constantinople where christianity first flourished (after Constantine became a christian and made the roman empire christian) and was centered there. When the Islamic armies were able to finally conquer it, they basically stole it as their own (I can only guess that they respected Constantinople so much, that they more or less said "It's MINE now") and centered the new Islamic caliphate there, the first islamic caliphate. Its why they also kept the hagia sophia (a beautiful christian place of worship- a wonder of the ancient world) and just converted it to Islamic symbols. I'm not Orthodox and given the numerous sects of Christianity many do things that are wrong.

Again, every world "religoin" has it's agreed upon symbol. Islam (spit) has the Crescent Moon.
History is just that.
The Crusades were a Catholic thing and if people learned history, Muslims invaded Christian lands; stole, raped, murdered, etc.
They were a justified response against the Muslims.
I'll never defend Islam or Muslims. God's judgement on them be swift and Just.
