if a 9M earthquake drops half the buildings in seattle, it won't be the end. if M 8 and 9 quakes drop half the buildings across the whole world then i might think things are going to get really bad in the future. --and it might take a few generations of such geological activity to wake up enough volcanoes to get a few dozen "years without a summer" to make enough " “1800 and Froze to Death,” years of decay such that we get back to normal human levels of perhaps just a few hundred thousand folks on the planet.

I'm still thinking before Jesus comes back we will see another ice age, the complete destruction of modern life. all the cement bridges, etc.. will be broken apart by hunter gatherers who pound the rebar and concrete into bits with rocks.. to get the iron out to make axe heads.

Geologically and scientifically speaking, it is all fairly normal. Lots of earth-quaking all the time, some bigger than others. Usually only upsets the locals as most don't give a hoot about anyone except themselves.

Same as lightning and thunder storms. You should check out how many are happening every single day and night all over the globe.
Makes a thinking person wonder about all the electric charge going on and how that all works with the biosphere and growth of plants etc. Interesting stuff, if you are into it.

I agree. Matthew 24 makes better sense with the AD70 judgement of Jerusalem in the foreground. It also fits better with the whole Genesis to Revelation story of the Bible. I have no prediction on when Jesus will return in glory, but there's no Bible prophecy yet to be fulfilled before he does. It could be tonight.

What did Jesus say in regards to earthquakes? In Mark 13:8, He said that they would be part of the beginning of sorrows. So, are the other things stated: famines, troubles, conflict between nations.
But, we should've stopped "loving" the world when we were regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Amen? Because one of His MAIN duties is to guide us into all truth...being Christlike. And, to love the world would be proof that you have not been regenerated. 1st John 2:15 - 16.

Now......Remember that "mark" you are to take, if you miss the Rapture? That "mark" is allegiance to Satan, and if you take it, you get money and food and shelter and hell also after you die.
Listen, the devil has to have a reason to show up.........and that is why He shows up. He shows up to handle a Global money crisis.................Global Economic Collapse.
Now, look around.
You'll find that Lebanon just economically collapsed in the last year. But you didnt hear about it, did you?. And they are not the only country.
Many are on the brink of economic collapse, as of today.
Soon it will be Global, and the USA now has a mentally unstable leader pretending to be a President. And you know why this matters? Its because the world's economics follow after the USA economics.
So, when the USA collapses, so does the world's economy, and IN COMES THE DEVIL< to save it.
That's his REASON to show up.
