I've decided to get baptised!

Tonight I went to a fantastic marvellous play, it was truly speclacular! I mean I loved it, I cried at the beginning when a short scene of Jesus being beaten came on, and this made me think...

5 or so years ago that would of meant snot to me, but now Im crying over it?? According the world any normal 17 year old lad is supposed to be hard as rocks, into chicks, drinking and drugs and clubbing.. but Im not, into any of them. That shown me how much Ive grown and how much Jesus has turned my life completely around and just spurred the thought I seen in a Bible the other day. It went something along the lines that nobody that hasent been baptised in holy water cannot enter the kingdom of God. Now, the play was all about accepting Jesus before its too late, and not to put it off - with this in mind I thought, hey Ive got no reason I shouldnt, Ive got plenty of time, and I dont want it to be too late!

So theres my little testimony for you, has anybody got anything they can tell me to memorize, perhaps a scripture or something similar. Just because Ill be a born again Christian and Im gona have to be on my toes all the time, Im gona have to really buckle down on getting the sin out my life?

Thanks for anybody that read, I was just so happy when I thought this that I had to tell somebody, and who other than the TJ crew?

Dear Brother , I am very pleased, I really am very pleased to hear that you have decided to follow Jesus.......through the waters of Baptism.

I pray that Jesus will come to you in a special way.........expect Jesus to come....He will.....as you wait before him.

You are being obedient to what the Bible says to get baptised.

You need to remember to put on the full armour of God each day for protection from the fiery darts. Eph.6.10

We do still sin but the good news is that when we repent and that means to turn around and not keep doing but actually sincerely confess our sins, He not only forgives us but He even forgets the sins.

Most importantly we need to Seek Him first.
