Healing Belongs to You.
Isaiah 53:4, “ Surely He has borne our/my sicknesses, and carried our/my diseases; yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted.”
“ What does He say He did with our/my diseases?”
“ Surely He (that is Christ) hath borne our sicknesses, and carried our diseases; yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted.”
... It pleased God to bruise Him, He made Him sick with our/my diseases.
What does that mean?
It means that the pains and afflictions I am suffering were laid on Jesus. Jesus actually bore them just as He bore my sins.
“He was wounded for my transgressions, He was bruised for my iniquities; the chastisement of my peace was upon Him; and with His stripes I am healed.”
“ God actually laid my iniquities on Jesus. I do not have to bear them.”
“ God actually laid my sickness upon Him and made Him sick with my diseases?”
That is what the Word declares!
He (God) made Him (Jesus) sin with my sins that I might be the righteousness of God in Christ; 2 Corinthians 5:21. He (God) made Him (Jesus) sick with my diseases that I might be perfectly well in Christ.
It is a gift. Healing is mine now as I thank and praise Him for it.
God put my diseases on Jesus. He was stricken, smitten of God and afflicted with my diseases. Satan has no right to put on me what God put on Jesus.
Bless the LORD, my soul; and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2 Bless the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—
3 who forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases,
4 who redeems my life from the pit and crowns me with love and compassion,
5 who satisfies my desires with good things so that my youth is renewed like the eagle's.
6 The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.
10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
Psalm 103 1-6 & 10-12.
