Jesus Christ Delivers Believers from the Fear of Death that Enslaves
Holy Bible - Hebrews 2:14-15
14 Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, 15 and deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery.
AlertChristians:
Through death, Jesus destroyed the devil, Satan, and his power over death. And Jesus delivers believers from fear of death and from slavery because of that fear.
Believers are commanded to love, the opposite of fear.
Holy Bible - Mark 12:29-31 (ESV)
29 Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
