The internet is full of preachers and Bible interpreters who fail to differentiate between the groups Jesus spoke to, spoke of and directed his disciples to preach the Gospel to.
To many preachers of different churches there are only Jews and Gentiles.
To Jesus there were Jews, Gentiles and The Lost Sheep Tribes of Israel.
His teachings about GOD and the Law were hate speech to Jews who ultimately killed him.
He spoke with Gentiles such as the Samaritan woman at the well.
Philip baptised the Ethiopian eunuch Gentile who became a believer.
He sent out the disciples with the following instructions: Matthew 10:5 “Do not go onto the road of the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. 6 Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel.
He confirmed his mission: Matthew 15:24 He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
The House of Israel were not the two tribes of Judah/South Israel but were the ten tribes of North Israel who had been conquered and exiled by SHalmaneser the Assyrian.2 Kings 17.
Following Israel's final deportation, the Bible states, "There was none left but the tribe of Judah alone" (2 Kings 17:18).
To clarify, the Hebrew word for "tribe" here, sebet, can mean an entire nation with more than one tribe (compare Jeremiah 51:19, New Revised Standard Version). And in fact it must mean that here since the kingdom of Judah included, besides Jews/Judah's tribe, but the tribes of Benjamites and Levites.
The point is: "There was none left but the nation of Judah alone." While there may have been a few hangers-on, the northern tribes of Israel were gone.
It was to the Lost Tribes that the disciples were sent.
Jews, Gentiles and The Lost Sheep of Israel who are today's Christians though many have become seduced by Satan to become pagan Catholics and other cults.
