I confess that relating to this man I only know what I see on the christian T.V. here in England. I have dropped upon his service now and again, and have taken the time to listen to him

He attracts a crowd of many thousands, week by week. They seem to hang on to his every word! The times I have listened to him speaking, I have been surprised that over years now, he keeps so fresh, and his people seem to love him.

He gives a gospel appeal at the end of each message that I have heard.

So what is the problem?

I just don't think that this video is true. We can't believe each and every thing that we see, especially in the news. God knows the real truth. As I was listening to the video, I could make out that some facts were distorted.

It is all satan's work to cause distraction and to cause division among the people, so I think it is better not to bother about this video.

Jesus Himself was falsely accused infront of many people, He Himself said that we His servants, will be accused and be open to criticism

There are always people trying to criticize and pull others down. Like they did with Joyce Meyer and Benny Hinn. We are not to judge or we will be judged. God knows all our hearts. Those whom much has been given much is expected. I am not going to watch a video speaking against a man of God.

Watch the interview with Joel Osteen and Larry King, if you don't believe it. When I hear Joel Osteen I hear about how we're going to have a great life and get so many blessings. That is why people like him. They want to feel good about themselves. They don't want to hear about their sins and they don't want to hear about the Hell Jesus Christ preached about.

That's why many people in this day and age don't go to church.
They know when they go they will be told that they are sinning and that
they need to change, but they don't want to.

However, when a person can find a church that does not criticize their
ways of sin they will willing go there or listen to that preacher because
he doesn't make them feel bad about their ways.


I just believe that one needs to be taught about all of the Bible.

Because we need to learn and live by all of God's commandments and laws.

Its also wise to do your research before pointing fingers (judging) people like Joel Osteen. He always finishes off his sermons by asking the audience to accept Jesus Christ as Lord AND Savior, to find a "Bible-Based Church" (literally word to word) and to read the Bible. What's the problem?

You judged Joel Osteen and what did he say wrong? He said its not his business to judge others' hearts. GOD says that too. He says he teaches the Bible for what it says. GOD expects that from us. These videos you posted are absolute lies. Youtube also has "Billy Graham Exposed" videos too. Do you believe them Cody? Do you want to expose him also? So what if Osteen has the largest church in America? Someone has to, is there a problem with that?

Some Christians are so tied up in their little world, under their lifeless rock that they forget GOD *does* want to bless His children even here on earth, not just Heaven!!! So what if Joel preaches blessings constantly? He is telling the truth. I am a living proof of GOD's favors and blessings by His grace in Christ. I am never afraid to ask GOD for this or that. He already knows my heart and He knows I have desires, which He had created me with. So Joel Osteen attracts 20,000. Is that "fishy" somehow? No. Jesus attracted several thousands too. He was accused constantly even by those who witnessed His miracles before their own eyes! How much more today's evangelists and preachers who do not perform miracles? I am accused almost everyday just running a Christian forum. I cannot imagine how much these big time evangelists are mocked by the devil's little workers each day. Joel being one of the obvious targets by people who do not get their facts right before pointing their fingers. What a shame.

thanks for the post cody I too believe as you do about joel osteen? i'm always being called a hateful christian if I go there with people. When in fact paul talked alot about false teachers(Acts 20:27-31). and when you have conversations about false teachers you're always told you should'nt judge. But Jesus said by their fruits you shall know them(Matthew 7:15-20). We also read that even Satan's ministers are transformed into ministers of righteousness.(2Cor 11:13-15). the Gospel is repentace towards God and Faith in Jesus Christ. I know if someone came to me about a false teacher I would thank a fellow brother for loving me enough to bring it to my attention. I really enjoy this site a like reading all the posts... plan and simple the gospel is repentance towards God and faith in Jesus christ! Joel is not willing to go there and on live t.v. even going so far as to hesitate on saying that jesus is the only way when asked. I know he speaks well and says alot of nice words but you can show the love to someone by telling them what christ did for them on the cross and the sins you need to repent of.

If I only knew about Larry King, I would not have bothered to watch this video. Thanks for your reply. It is so true that we are being accused all the time by the devil. I have people in my college who hate Christians to the core. I do have enemies because I'm a Christian. Please pray for my protection.

I agree with that. When someone says something against that book aka God's Word, God will judge them. I also believe we can judge things according to God's Word. We're not judging when we do that, we're simply quoting and explaining scripture. I can't judge, but God's Word can and it will.
