John MacArthur lists the effects of COVID & Lockdowns

@Dave M. -- He is So right. Power-hungry people. Perfect conditions for the Antichrist to appear. Every day is closer to the rapture than 'today'. And that This is the kind of world that we never thought Could happen.

We need to put our trust and confidents in Christ. That was excellent presentation. Thank you for sharing it.

'Life' is a terminal illness -- every one Is going to die." (Where are we going to spend eternity that lasts forever). The part in parenthasis is mine.

I've looked at this man's claims about covid in earlier threads. They don't stack up. Before I had hoped that he was just ill-informed. Now I'm forced to conclude that he is a liar and a deceiver. There are too many half-truths and misrepresented facts for it to be an accident or an oversight.

@Hekuran -- are you referring to John MacArthurs comments? I've heard much the same things from other sources, too. Lots of ordinary people have come to the same conclusions.

Yes. Because ordinary people are misled by people like him. He's behaving disgracefully. It is absolutely clear to me that for his own reasons he is consciously being dishonest about this. This presentation is very careful in the way it selects and presents information about the disease. It's not an accident. It's a cumulative lie.

Sorry to be blunt about it. But people are dying needlessly and will continue to do so because of the self-serving actions of him and people like him.

@ Hekuran -- John MacArthur is a leading Bible scholar / pastor. He IS consciously being very truthful / honest about it.

He misses the truth on some major points. Jesus taught Amillennialism, he teaches Pre-millennialism which is a doctrine of the Pharisees.

I have no idea about his theology or Bible scholarship credentials. I know he is lying about coronavirus. It's no good being a leading pastor if you are leading the flock into danger.

I know he is lying about coronavirus.

it's actually you who are deceived and have no idea what you're talking about, yet I know you are sincere and would never call you a liar.

You are led and manipulated easily by the mainstream media and have not any discernment within you. When was the last time you prayed for the gift of discernment?? Are you in the word every day?? are you on your hands and knees praying?? Do you have non repented sin in your life?? because you lack any discernment and are easily deceived by the world I fear for you in these end times. My questions are rhetorical for you to answer to yourself.

BUt anyone who has a ounce of discernment with in knows exactly what this virus is being used for, wake up.

I trained as a journalist. I know how news stories are sourced and written. I have a good understanding of how facts can be manipulated and distorted, and I have learned to pick up the signs of biased reporting. I know how to present situations fairly. I am less likely to be manipulated by media than most people.

I tell you from professional experience that this man is lying.

The Bible / God's Word Teaches a 1,000 year earthly reign of Jesus Christ. Look at Revelation 20: 2 and then at vs 7 -- satan is bound -- vs 1 and 2.

Maybe you're referring to pre-tribulation rapture timing of the rapture. I just looked it up. There are 4 views concerning the millennialism which I didn't know. Maybe what you're referring to is dispensational millennialism. Which says that Jesus Christ returns Before the 7 yr tribulation period. There are also amillennialism. Which suggests no literal 1,000 yrs = a day is as a 1,000 yr and a 1,000 yrs as a day. Meaning that time has no meaning with God. God created 'time' for us.

A person can Google it and read about those 4 views.

I do disagree with you, but I would like to compliment on how you conduct yourself here it is appreciated, and a good sign of the fruit of the spirit

The 1000 years = Satan's binding. They are not the kingdom. Satan attacks the kingdom when they end. When did Jesus bind Satan from deceiving the nations? When the gospel went to the whole world. The gospel binds him.

Did you know the millennium is a Pharisee doctrine? The Church condemned it as heresy in 431 at the council of Ephesus. Jesus' kingdom is spiritual and came in the days of the ancient Roman Empire as Daniel said. But only the born again can see it. That's why the Pharisees killed Jesus. Because he proclaimed a kingdom they could not see. Most "Christians" also reject the Gospel of the Kingdom today preferring the Pharisee's physical kingdom that was a no show. Please study this.

thank you @Dave M ! Likewise, I'd like nothing more than to sit down with you in person and have a good, good long, long talk over a decent meal.

@Dave L -- yes -- satan is bound during the 1,000 yr earthly reign of Jesus Christ. He will not be around to influence anyone during that time. Jesus Christ will be the righteous judge. and, yet, when satan is released, he will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth. vs 8 of Revelation 20. "Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. vs 9 "They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them."

During those 1,000 yrs -- no one will be able to blame satan -- "the devil made me do it" and the verse "the heart is deceitful and desperately evil , who can know it."

Your newest post just came through.

Are you referring to the RCC as The Church or the Church that Jesus Christ is the corner stone of.

There were the Pharisee, Sadduces and Essenes.

The Romans crucified Jesus Christ because He claimed to be God. And He Was God incarnate.

Will get this sent. The physical kingdom was a no-show? They were looking for a King to come and reign Then -- but He came in the form of the Christ child. To provide salvation for All.

Jesus bound Satan with the Gospel. (from deceiving the nations). It already happened. The 1000 years represent his binding. It is not the kingdom. Why? Because Satan attacks the kingdom (Church) when loosed. Happening now? I believe so. Most Christians reject the Gospel of the Kingdom Jesus preached and prefer the Pharisee's future physical kingdom of sight. Only the born again can see the present Kingdom by faith that Jesus preached.

@Dave L. -- do you really believe that satan is not deceiving the nations presently? What 1,000 yrs have already happened that represent satan's binding? Your theology is very confusing to me.

Satan is doing fine Now by deceiving people / nations. There are the BLM groups and abortions -- all the election fraud that has and continues to take place. There is a great deal of unrest here in this country and around the world. And That is satan at work Now. He is definitely Not bound.

Now, because of the Gospel unto salvation -- because of the risen SAvior -- we are no longer Slaves to sin / satan. We Do have power through Christ / the Holy Spirit.

What other than the gospel can bind Satan from deceiving the nations? I personally think he is now loosed and we are living in a brief period of deception before the Lord returns. If you knew what the church believed until the 1800s and compare that to now, you would probably agree with me. Look at all the crack-pot doctrines that came about since then. And then look at the (Catholic) Antichrist doctrines now dominating popular religion in the Churches. Do you know the doctrine of free will is an Antichrist Doctrine? Also Dispensationalism?
