Not all that surprised. $ seems to have on more than one occasion removed the blindfold from the eyes of Lady Justice of late.

What does the Word say about those who call good evil, and evil good?

New American Standard Bible
No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him.
New International Version
No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs, but rather tries to please his commanding officer.

"You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others. Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs, but rather tries to please his commanding officer. Similarly, anyone who competes as an athlete does not receive the victor’s crown except by competing according to the rules. The hardworking farmer should be the first to receive a share of the crops. Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this."

(Gal. 6)BSB
" I am amazed how quickly you are deserting the One who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— which is not even a gospel. Evidently some people are troubling you and trying to distort the gospel of Christ".…

Who is deserting? What are you going on about?

In responding to the Title Thread. This response is not directed to everyone. Only to the "faithful few" who Have a "Master and LORD" who have given us a "Direct Command" and is to be obeyed :eyes: and no questions ask.

I can think of two men in the bible who challenged God when God made a decision, and got their way..God changed His mind because they challenged Him....

Really: Have you forgotten so soon; JOB Chapter 38-42. GOD never changes HIS mind, He is "Immutable". In "Anthropomorphic" terms it seems to the "finite" mind the "nominal christian" it appears to them, in The Bible that HE has. a piece of corrupted dirt never changes the mind of "GOD" HE is not a "human being". He is " THE TETRAGRAMMATON"! :pensive:

God always changes The mind of HIS own, Through Repentance :pensive: Repent for The Kingdom of GOD is at Hand.

Job’s Confession and Repentance

Then Job answered the LORD and said:
“I know that you can do all things,
and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted.
‘Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?’
Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand,
things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.
Hear, and I will speak;
I will question you, and you make it known to me.’
I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear,
but now my eye sees you;
therefore I despise myself,
and repent in dust and ashes.”

Well, you're an expert on the bible....I'm sure that if you dig into it you will find two men who challenged God and changed His mind....unless of course, you are stubborn and don't bother.

I don't have to dig in The BIBLE, I did that over 40 years ago, it is in me and the Holy Spirit brings the WORD of GOD that is in me to my remembrance. "Greater is HE that is in me Than he that is in The World"

New King James Version
Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, Before the difficult days come, And the years draw near when you say, “I have no pleasure in them”:

(Psalms 119)
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.
With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.

I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.
I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.
I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.

A old Preacher told me when i was in my early my mid twenties. "put All of His Word in you now"! and let it dwell in you richly Now"! in your young age.
[and the Holy Spirit] will bring to your remebrance everything you have read. Every "dot and tittle". So i made sure i knew every "dot and tittle" in the KJV copyright 1967 New Scofield Study System and The Thompson Chain Reference Bible NIV early 1980 something plus 1977 edition. every dot and Tittle.
I don't have to dig nothing up! Anyway, I am to old to dig! I thank GOD when JESUS said this:

"Whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life"

That is why I can't keep my mouth shut! That WORD is in me!

Jeremiah the Prophet told GOD; "you trick me" LOL:joy:

Then, Expert, Who were the two men....They one challenged God out of love for his people, and the other challenged God on Covenant? Can you say who?

the Judge properly blocked this ridiculous law. you should read the law and the judges (iirc, 31 page) rebuttle to it.

Right...Well Jacob makes three then
Now may i ask you, How many good Kings, GOD place on The Throne in the Old Testament, Concerning the 12 tribes. Just do a a good guess. It is kinda of tricky. so don't be alarm. Just do a good guess.

But God DID change His mind....He changed how He did it.
Many verses tell us of God changing his mind.

Jonah 3, Exodus 32,

He even feels regret. 1Samuel 25.

Our God is not a robot. We are made in his image and likeness. His breath delivers into us our soul.

And look at us. Thinking God can't change his mind.

Did Genesis teach us nothing?

Over a period of roughly 205 years God appointed 5 kings who were good, and 33 kings who turned out to be total stinkers.... for a total of 38 kings. What's your answer?
