I could see it in her eyes
I could feel that pain swell inside me
Choking me
Tellin me she knew
It hurt her it must have
Now i wait alone
She must be so frightened
Alone
Wondering when im coming to her
They tell me notting
Just walk past me
Like they walk past so many others
Were all waiting
She thinks shes coming home
How can i tell her different
I just stand back and wait
Jesus i beg you are with her
What happened to yesterday?
This wasnt real yesterday
She was beside me
So innocent so trusting
i cannot bear it any longer
Yet im still waiting ..........................
