I accepted Jesus into my life approximately 5 years ago, and I cannot imagine being even just a tiny bit more happy, relieved, and at peace about that decision. It is the most wonderful, beautiful and life-changing decision I have ever made, one that nothing in this world will ever surpass. Praise God. I would like to say concerning Yanni, he has said he does NOT see himself as a "New Age" musician/composer, and never wanted to be viewed as such. I never felt he was or is. I like a lot of his older music. He seems to, however, have lost the beauty of his music, over the past couple decades though, especially after that domestic violence thingy. I don't know. I think that the best piece he ever wrote was the one he wrote for his mom. I can hear the reverence for her in the piece. I don't listen to his music much anymore. I dearly love my praise and worship music, which I listen to almost every day. I now listen to Yanni's music when I need something in the background that won't make me think, or really pay attention to. It helps me focus when I have to do tedious or really hated work. I have an eclectic approach to music, most likely as most folks do.

I will say this however about Yanni's music, before becoming a follower of Jesus, Yanni's music got me through some very cold, dark, lonely, and scary times in my life. In fact, once when I was seriously(I mean actually in the preparation of) committing suicide, it was his music that quite literally stopped me in my tracks. God uses those whom He pleases. So..no I don't consider his music a demonic or negative thing. I just pray the Lord will cause Yanni to seek and find Him, before it’s too late.

Yes, let us pray. Thanks for sharing. Yes music is very important in worship.

SO much to say on this point.
