Ok ..Breakthrough

This last two years have been a rough one ..money worries ,Health concerns and more so let me cut to the chase .
The word tells us that if we are asked to carry the pack of another one mile that we are compelled to carry it two in the love of Christ .!
So is it with tithes and offering ..ive not been faithful with our tithes due to lack ..my wife lost her job in November and my work hasnt seemed to got off any extra either ..my first raise in oct 2011 was 10 cents ..my pride was crushed :secret:my second raise was in oct 2012 26 cents .:shock:.my wage hasnt kept up with life costs at all ..my son from the service has been living with us on top of it all with his new baby and wife to be and her kids .Ive tried to maintain we had it all togather for thier sakes so as to not burden them ..all while beeing two mos behind in house payments and my fear has been the loss of our house ..ITS BEEN MY MAIN CONCERN DUE TO NOT HAVING A HOME I KNEW WAS HOME SINCE I WAS A CHILD ....so here is the story ive been coming to...The word tells us that tithes is our way of showing God we trust Him and offering is our sacrafice over our commandment from God about the first fruits...So last week I walked in to the living room and called a Family meeting..I stood there and told them all before God that i didnt Care any more what the cost GOD WOULD GET HIS FIRST even if it cost my house..!!!!!:surrender: big step for me ..!! we started tithing what we didnt have in Faith. so i got to work tonight and my boss called and told me that corprate had decided to give me a raise .! 1 dollar an hour .im almost at 10.00 per hr now..Raises dont come out until Oct. and it just dosent happen any sooner BUT GOD....! SO here is what im saying in this post Tithes is Gods command to us to fullfill the Law just as carring someones pack a mile ...OFFERINGS IS GOING THE SECOND MILE OUT OF lOVE .! MY GOD IS FAITHFUL TO HIS WORD AND ILL NEVER AGAIN SAY WE CANT AFFORD TO TITHE AND I WILL ENDEVOR TO OFEER TO GOD ALL I CAN ABOVE HiS LAW......SO if youre titheing out of the law i encourage you to go the second mile and give offerings out of love and see Gods hand work in youre finances as well ....to God be the Glory ...REV :singing:

Amen Pastor and thank you for your unselfish devotion and love you show to Him. I also give my offerings to Him and it is a gift I know will be used to spread His love. Praise to Him, our Lord Jesus Christ.

Tithing is Good, even if it's your last dollar. My wife taught me tithing so many years ago and I was sooo blessed by it, she even has this beautiful expensive antique desk that we have, that we write our cheques out on. I know some churches don't teach about tithing, but... our Lord asks us to test him regarding tithing in the Old Testament. I don't think that has changed one bit, how can God change on such a simple act.

"Bring forth...the tithes and offerings..." "Test me on this, 'says the Lord Almighty,' and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it." - Malachi 3:10 (New American Standard version)
