...yah,it's in Judges chapter 7...Well, i am just so "amazed"(if this is the right word to use)or should i say overwhelm to the truth i learned behind this old testament book... what strike me was when God told gideon to minimize his army, God must be kidding... But He is not, God's word still lurking in my heart up to this very moment.He said, "...you have too many men for me to deliver median into your hands..." whats the big deal? well,as i continue to read the following words i feel ashamed:embarasse . when God said, "in order that israel may not boast against me that her own strength has saved her..." it is really true, we people put our trust in the things around us. We basically PUT our trust and confidence to this all short time things... maybe to our finances, our family or friends, or even to ourselves, we often forget the source of all those things...our God. That is why, God sometimes, most of the times get whats between God and us..those who hinders our fellowship with Him. Because, acquiring those stuff, we may say to the lord with proud hearts... its because of me, I conquer everything with my OWN strength..., neglicting the very presence of the Lord... GOD IS OUR STRENGTH!!!! THE SOURCE OF EVERYTHING...WE MUST ALWAYS BRING BACK ALL THE GLORY AND HONOR TO HIM! He is great right?!!
