Cling to your faith in Christ, and keep your conscience clear. For some people have deliberately violated their consciences; as a result, their faith has been shipwrecked. 1 Timothy 1:19
John 3:36 (NKJV) says, "He who believes in the Son has everlasting life," so you clearly need faith in Jesus. But if you lack love for God and your fellow man, and don't have a clear conscience, these can badly injure and/or shake your faith.
If you willfully disobey God then refuse to repent and accept His forgiveness, you violate your conscience. You won't necessarily lose your connection with Christ, but will likely live in defeat, not enjoying the freedom and assurance that's your right in Him.
If you've sinned, repent today, and trust that God will forgive you. What gives you the right to trust that He will do that? His Word promises: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 NKJV). "He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy" (Proverbs 28:13 NKJV).
God longs to forgive you and set you free. He wants to restore your ability to live an overcoming, victorious life by His Spirit.
Prayer: Lord, I confess my sins to You, and I forsake them. Help me to accept Your forgiveness and make things right with others, if possible.
