I think every new Christian goes through this at some point. Be careful, for we are saved by faith. (Eph 2:8-9) You can pray for your unbelief (Mar 9:24)

Our entire salvation is based on faith. Faith in Jesus Christ.

1Pet 1:9 obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls.

Jas 2:24 You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone.
Jas 2:17 Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.

Jas 1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
Jas 1:6 But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
Jas 1:7 For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord,
Jas 1:8 being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Heb 10:38 BUT MY RIGHTEOUS ONE SHALL LIVE BY FAITH; AND IF HE SHRINKS BACK, MY SOUL HAS NO PLEASURE IN HIM.

Heb 10:22 let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
Heb 10:23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful;

Mar 9:23 And Jesus said to him, " 'If You can?' All things are possible to him who believes."
Mar 9:24 Immediately the boy's father cried out and said, "I do believe; help my unbelief."

Reading the Bible is a good place to start. You can't really love or believe in God unless you know him.
1Jn 4:20 If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.

The best way to get to know him is to read his word and pray. Get involved in a fellowship with other believers at your church. I will be praying for you also.

Heb 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

Eph 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;
Eph 2:9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Yet we all have doubts sometimes. Looking back, I think most of trials I went thru in my life, were to help me increase my faith in the Lord.

Salvation is not about feelings, and sometimes in church, people make a show of emotions, so you can't always use that as your guide. Sometimes a particular sermon or song will touch someone who has struggled in a certain area more than someone else who has not struggled in that area.
Find a lifeGroup, or Bible study, or Sunday school class, a small group is the best way to get to know other people, they will pray for you, and you can pray for them, a good group will hold you accountable for things you may need to pray for or might be struggling with. We weren't really meant to walk the Christian path alone.

Mat 18:20 "For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst."

Ecc 4:12 And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart.

Heb 10:25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

Hi, I would like to encourage you to NOT compare your walk with others. Like a parent our relationship is different with each of our children, similar but differeny. That is how our relationship with our heavenly Father is suppose to be.

If you are feeling your not in the word enough then get in the word more. Remember it is not the amount of time but ones heart.

We may not feel like it at times but making the time is worth more than not at all. Once one starts to spend time with God we start to enjoy that time.

May I suggest you put on some Christian music you like at home listen to the words and just praise HIM.

There are many ways to communicate. He loves to be praised and to just have us sit at His feet listening.

Hang in there my sister. Listen to what God is saying to you not how others are.

Be blessed

If you have a plan and read just a little at a time, you can finish reading the whole bible in one year. If you do a search for "Bible in a year" you can find plans.
