Success with pure lavender oil.....a note especially for any tired mums and dads!!!

My one year old daughter is not the best sleeper.
She is still breast feeding and wakes me up a few times through the night

For the past few months I have been using pure Lavender oil

5 drops in her bath at night
A little rubbed onto her temple and forehead
And a lavender room and pillow spray

The effects of this natural oil have been amazing.
She settles much more quickly and gets back to sleep easily if she wakes.
I also feel less tired and stressed from all the sleepless nights....the oil is also a great balm for a tension headache

Thanking the Lord for the beauty of His creation, for flowers and herbs that can be used in a natural way for our daily needs

I just ensure I buy oil that is 100% pure rather than a cheaper blend. Also an organic oil ensures there have been no pesticides used in the growing process.

Some lavender room sprays have lots of other ingredients, I avoid those. Some are just mixed with a water and alcohol base and I find them fine just as a spray (not for personal use)

There are many uses for lavender......here's a couple that I've tired and tested that seem very effective

Bites and Lavender
Here in Australia so many insects like to bite and mosquito's are always troublesome in summer and Autumn particularly.
I have found that a dab of pure lavender oil reduces the itching, the inflammation and also heals bites quicker than pharmaceutical creams

Nappy Rash
Diluted to 10% with a natural carrier oil......fast relief and healing.

Isn't it amazing what our Lord's natural creation provides
