Hey, so I have found myself reading alot of conspiracy theories, profiles of several secular leaders, opinionists and musicians as well as establishments that are totally in rebellion to the commandments of God.

So after reading all these things I asked myself what does this mean? So what? What and where is the value addition for me?

I know one thing, that some things only come to make us stronger.
What are we called to do… pray at all times with all manner of prayers and to fear not. So here I am telling myself that am not gonna be freaked out, let alone get obsessed with one conspiracy theory after another. I need to live by the word of God in season and out of season

For instance, - we are to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for Isreal. We pray that all men may come to know God whether Jew or Gentile, that the eyes of their understanding may be open.

So Iam convinced that the only reason I have paid attention to some views is to make me stronger, to make my prayers more specific and to know that God is in control- Psalms 46 and to probably encourage others not to dwell on certain things.

But I just know that I don’t need to read more than one scriptof conspiracy, world views etc to be reminded that Jesus is the focus anyway.

See the devil came to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have the abundant life (John 10:10) and therefore we must always remember that this is the foundation of our Christianity and so always stay focused on this so that we are not lost in translation and interpretation of theory after theory.A time we would have spent searching the scriptures and seeking the face of the Lord and interceding for the lost.

So I say don’t get yourself reading a lot more than you really have to… instead just focus on the basics of Christianity, prayer and intercession, loving others as Christ has loved, the word leading our life like it was the last day before the Lord came. He is coming anyway! He could find you here or he could call you home and so this is what we must pay attention to and not get distracted. Remember Jesus said that the most important thing is for a man's name to be written in the book of life- let's not get left behind
Cheers!
