Let's talk about the Baptist denomination !

Hello,

I am posting this thread about knowing the fundamental doctrins in the Baptist Faith. I mean, what is the difference amongst Baptists, Methodists, Lutherans, pentecostals,... and Evangelical.

As I am concerend, I am atending the evangelical Church of the Congo but i am cvery confused when looking at tother Christian ndenominations. For, all i know is that we all are protestant, except Orthodox and the roman catholicvs of course. But, what is making difference amongst al of us, please? i am completely confused.

However, i am very fond of the Baptist Faith because of their way and passion for sending missionaried all over the world and i would like to become,n if GOD wills, a missionary. unfortunately, there is no missionary department within our local Church. and there are only two "great" Churches by denomination in the republic of the Congo.

May I ask why do you need to belong to a particular denomination?
