I was speaking with my sister in law last night and she was telling me that she has been going to hear a particular woman speak on "extreme prophetic" about things going on in Canada. I will not use the woman's name but after talking to my sister in law and hearing how she is going to drive 7 hrs. to hear this woman speak in July and then is going to a Crusade for 4 days in Oct. to hear this woman speak left me curious. From what my sister in law told me this woman did not say anything I haven't already thought about ie. "Canada is asleep spiritually" really eh? like we are going ahead with the same sex marriage bill - Canada is definately not awake there but I knew that. next example "the baby boomers have caused much damage to society and we are now paying for it" really eh? I'm figuring out why my sister in law is willing to do all this running around to hear this woman, I figure she can hear it from me over the phone if she called me regularly and then no gas money. Why do people cling to other people? Why "Extreme Prophetic?" If one prophesy is wrong then it is not from God, the Bible is clear but my sister in law say's people are foilable while God is infallible so people can mistakes when making a prophesy. Why are we closed to hearing the Word as it is written?
Any way, I checked out this website from this woman and I was not impressed at all.
I decided to check out the teaching of a Ravi Zacharias, I listened to one of his teachings and I was blown away. He is one of the foremost Apologetics in Christianity I hear. Just listening to him it makes sense. He has a radio program called "Let my people think." Sounds like we have actually have to do some thinking on our own and match it up with the Word. He does not talk about prophesies but how to defend the Gospel in today's world. Now that is someone I want to learn from. Guess what I will be listening to tomorrow?
