Odd video. The presenter introduced the fruits of the spirit – love, joy, peace, kindness, gentleness, patience, self control – as markers of genuine Christian faith, which is an excellent test. But then didn't explore whether these were in abundance in Donald Trump's life, rather swtiched to his anti-abortion policies, pro Israel stance etc.

scripture tells us all we need to know, when you look for other sources for spiritual authority you are in for a lot of trouble and deception, that is why God gave us his word to protect us. many or fooled by there own mind and flesh and deceiving spirits that desguise themselves as angels of light.

You mean you don't use discernment with the Holy Spirit? Because that was the answer I was looking for.

If you can't trust the discernment of the Holy Spirit, then what can you trust? If all you're going to do is use the scripture for your confirmations how in the world are you going to survive when you have things happening that are not in Scripture that you need to know it's coming from the Lord or not?

The Holy Spirit is essential for all Christians to really understand God. But not all Christians have the fulness of the Holy Spirit, and some have nothing at all.

The Holy Spirit can only come fully to those who Love deeply with thier hearts. If there is any animosity, anger at others or hatred, the Spirit can not enter.

The Spirit of God will go to those who want it. But doesn't force itself on those who don't.

The parable of the Word of God falling on fertile soil, rocky soil and Solid Rock is the same as the Holy Spirit. To some who have fertile soil in their heart, the Holy Spirit comes fully to those people. To some who have rocky soil, the Holy Spirit comes but only partially. The hope is that those people learn to work on their hearts and make those rocky soil hearts into fertile hearts. But there are some Christians whose hearts are like rock, and the Holy Spirit does not enter those. Those Christians who are filled with hate anger all sorts of Darkness.

Bill if you think GOD Jesus Christ left something out of scripture,, I would say it is you that lacks any spiritual gift. !!!

scripture the word of God is a living word that is the foundation of life and of all spiritual gifts, it sadden me to think someone thinks God the author of life would leave out something, you have to stop listening to the little voices in your head my freind, they are not all your freind, brother Ray just posted a great thread I would suggest you do a real dive into it, it may help you in your walk. How will you recognize a prophet from God if he tells you something that you do not agree with? What if the prophet is trying to tell you something that you have never heard? Will you condemn him because you do not have the understanding? Will you condemn him because theHoly Spirit is not working in you the way you think it should?

Case in point, recently a priest friend of mine and I have had a falling out so to speak. I quoted him saying something in my journal, and that quote was written over 10 years ago.

Because he feels that it does not portray him in a good light, he wants me to remove it from the journal. Although he doesn't say that, in those words it's fairly obvious to me that his pride is slightly stung. Basically his pride has been smitten, and he doesn't like it.

He has been bugging me for the last month now, to remove that one sentence. And I find the whole thing a little bit absurd, not so much the sentence that I have written. But the amount of attention that he's given it. I warned him to be careful because the devil is going to use this against him, because this is about Pride.

Today, he sent me a message in regards to a different subject all together. This subject has to do with Jesus descending into Shelob ( i might have misspelled that) after Jesus died on the cross.
And the priest stated, "I think that Jesus only went for those who were Worthy to receive salvation, such as Isaac Abraham and others."

I have to tell you I was appalled by that statement. How can anyone make that judgment outside of God. To say who is or who is not worthy. And I quoted him the scripture saying Jesus stated to the Pharisees that Sodom and Gomorrah would be judged less harshly than they would.

So you see, even this priest who I would call a friend, does not agree with me over various things.

How can he recognize what God has called me to be?

You know I have told you who I am. A Golden Lampstand.

How are you going to react, when you see me walking in Jerusalem doing the work God has given to me?

How did Jesus fight the devil in the desert Bill, with the word of God, for you to be so against the word of God is all I need to know you about you my freind I hope you see the light one day, until then you will be in my prayers I judge you not. Buy no Prophet of God would say that scripture is incomplete as you have suggested.

Who said I was against the scripture? Aren't I always quoting it.

The scripture is a foundational tool that we use to keep ourselves grounded. But it is the Holy Spirit that teaches us more, a greater understanding of god, how to become closer to God. How to become one with God.

Even the apostles and Jesus both stated that not everything that was said was in the scripture. Jesus himself made the comment that the Holy Spirit would come and continue teaching us. If everything that had been said why would you just say such a thing? And why would the apostles say that all that was written was just for starters just to get us going just to put us in the right direction just to lay the foundation why would the Apostle say that if everything in the scripture was the whole building when it wasn't it's just the foundation with Jesus being the Cornerstone.

If you want to understand my thinking, then let me ask you this what scripture did Peter go to to tell him it was okay to walk on the water? Do you see what I'm trying to say the scripture has its limitations the scripture is only the foundation. What Jesus and the apostles are doing is trying to have us grow up to build the building beyond the foundation. What scripture verse did the apostles go to that told him it was okay not to leave the jail or it was okay to leave the jail when the jail door opened it for them? What scripture verse shall we go to that said it was okay to accept the fact that people only wanted the shadow of Peter to fall on them to be healed? What scripture verse did the lady with the hemorrhage know it was okay to just touch Jesus to be completely healed? What scripture verse did The Men Who tore the Rope off the house to let their paraplegic friend lower him down to Jesus what scripture verse did they use to say it was okay to do that? What scripture verse did Moses go to to lift the rod of to part the Red Sea? You see it's not in the scripture all these things are not in the scripture all these things are Faith unparalleled Faith the faith that you do not have at this time you do not believe that you can just go up and touch somebody and be healed. You do not believe that you could lift up a rod and have the sea part in front of you. You do not believe these things because unless they're found in Scripture you won't believe it. And even if it is found in scripture is still don't have the faith to believe that could happen.

Everything Jesus did all the miraculous things all required faith. Jesus continually said to those who went out of their way to touch him to reach out to him your faith has healed you. It's all about faith and if you don't have faith if you don't understand what faith is faith is where you have nothing to go on, no scripture verse to go back up on, no words to back yourself up on, only knowing that God is with you.

When will you listen to the Holy Spirit David when are you going to actually listen to the Holy Spirit and follow him?

Jesus didnt have to use scripture, He did so to show us how to use it. Jesus was God, literally overflowing with the Holy Spirit, He obviously had a LOT more than scripture to lead Him, which were no more than His own words, said in times past.

I will accept what the Lord told me. Donald Trump is His President. The one He has chosen.

The Lord told me, before he even ran for office that he would be President.

During the election, in the beginning it looked like a landslide for Hillary. But the Lord sent his servant to Donald Trump to tell him to take heart, as the Lord was with him. And at that moment suddenly everything changed and the landslide went to Trump.

During President Trump's time in office, the Lord sent his servant to President Trump, to ask him this question. "Will you give your life for your country?" President Trump's reply was "yes!".

The Lord told me, the President Trump was God's Rock, and the power of Darkness like waves beating up against that rock.

President Trump may not be what you think a president should be, but he is what this country needs. And he is what God wants for this country.

King Nebuchadnezzar was considered the whip of God. And God used him to do all sorts of things. And yet King Nebuchadnezzar was not really in the Lord during the time that the Lord used him. And yet the Lord humbled King Nebuchadnezzar, and the King became saved. It is the same with Donald Trump.
