(CBS) Three subway stations in London's Underground were evacuated midday Thursday, following reports of what's only being described as incidents.

Emergency services also were responding to a report of an incident on a bus in east London, police said.

A London Underground spokesman said there are no reports of casualties, and police said they were not treating the evacuations as a "major incident."

Police said the Warren Street, Shepherds Bush and Oval stations have been evacuated.

One report said some sort of a nail bomb exploded at the Warren Street station.

All the trains in London's vast underground system have been shut down, reports CBS News Correspondent Richard Roth.

Roth reports one eyewitness described hearing "explosions that sounded like champagne corks popping."

"People were panicking. But very fortunately the train was only 15 seconds from the station," witness Ivan McCracken told Sky news.

McCracken said he smelled smoke, and people were panicking and coming into his carriage.

The incidents come two weeks after bomb attacks targeting three underground trains and a bus in London killed 56 people, including four suicide bombers.

"It's a complete mirror of the previous attack," terrorism expert Neil Livingstone told CBS News.

I just read this post and another news account. According to the article I read witness's say the bomber was angry that something went wrong. That this attack should have been worse. Thank God they were not! My prayers will continue to go for not only the U.K. but the entire world.

When I read current events just today it makes my head want to spin so much information so little of it good. Jlu

I agree with you Jesuslovesu...my son is in France for the summer and is planning on traveling by rail for a few days into Italy and Spain, so I am concerned because I know that terrorists aren't limited to just certain areas of the world...no one knows where they will strike next. I would appreciate prayer for him and know that we should all pray for those who are/have been affected by the bombings/attacks.

The worldwide tragedies should make us, as Christians, to echo the apostle John in Revelation 22:20, "...Even so, come, Lord Jesus."

Greetings All!

I agree with TDS52 that these events aren't limited to certain areas of the world, as terrorism is a global network, operating mainly via internet and deep conviction for 'death'. Religious devotion to a dead cause. They hate Jesus. We all have to be aware that this enemy feeds on the fear generated by the media. They go to internet chat rooms and tell people to turn on the news!
Should we pray for them? What would Jesus do?
The prayer we should be praying is for their salvation, for there surely won't be another chance when HE comes. We're all working out our own salvation with a quickened heart, because it is soon!

Joh 9:4 As long as it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me; night is coming when no one can work.
Joh 9:5 While I am in the world, I am the light for the world."

All we have to do is believe in Him and keep our faith strong in during these times. These are the last days, and things are happening as they are written in the bible. God's word is faithful.
