Lord, help me understand this paradox I face!

Hello Brothers and Sisters,

There is such grief and sorrow that overtakes my heart often, it comes from the missing salvation of others. I start thinking about my fellow coworkers. Some are Muslim men and women who are nice to me and genuinely cares for me, but I feel that it may be too late. Most are adults with children and grandchildren, they pray publicly and the women cover their hair; they are set in their ways. I sincerely love these people.

The Holy Spirit must work in these people, so I (try) to ask God at least everyday for them to have their hearts opened to Jesus. That is all I can do. But sometimes it just doesn't seem enough. We know not when Jesus will return, and no tomorrow is ever guaranteed. This night in particular I came home from work and just felt considerably worn, and useless. I know it is not my capability to make anyone accept Jesus Christ as their savior, but is that the final answer I get to living in such a paradoxical reality?

Wide is the path but narrow the gate. Your job is to be willing to share the gospel but you are not responsible for those whose hearts are considerably harden. You can many times, not tell who is really listening, you plant the seed but God will cultivate it in his own time. Sometimes you just have to "dust your feet off" and move own. Praise God you are a believer and saved.
Matthew 10:14 If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet

I will be praying for you and that you will receive the wisdom and understanding to do His will as it pertains to your co-workers.

It is always difficult when a non-believer is someone you know. It makes it doubly difficult when they are kind and truly reflect attributes of their faith. Yes you love them and you should. The Lord loves them as well. He gave His life for them too.

Just remember that it is a two way street. Just as they are kind and caring. So should you be reflective of who you believe in, Jesus Christ. So that they too can see the man of God that you are. Except. They will come to know that it is not because you are Muslim, but because you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior and King!

Do not lose hope for anyone Brother Jsang. As you know. It is not in your hands nor do you know if they will come to the faith or not. When the Holy Spirit convicts and touches that man or woman. It doesn't matter what they believe in before that moment. Just like any of us who now believe. Changes begin to shape us as a new creation. One who has been Born Again! A follower of Christ Jesus!

So stay faithful. Continue to pray and of cause continue to study the Bible that you might show yourself approved. You never know when the moment may present itself when someone may ask you "Why do you believe as you believe?" Be ready with your answer brother. If you have to write it down before hand. Then do so. Be prepared! Don't let an opportunity that may present itself go unanswered. It may arrive before you know it! Remember one thing. God may very well have you where He wants you to be!!!!

Remember always that we do live by faith rather than by knowledge. God does give of knowledge of some things some of the time, but do not expect it. Remember what faith is:

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Heb 11:1

"I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work." John 9:4

What we are to expect is the peace and joy in our heart that comes "in the morning":

"For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." Psalm 3:5

It seems to be a paradoxical reality that we all face but one that you don't have to carry (the burden) alone my dear friend - : see Psalms 55: 22 Cast those burdens unto the lord and least we forget he has already overcome the world the only thing you and I can do is trust him in the process and have faith in his plan for those that you pray for.
 
It is indeed just amazing sister Emilia! And yet for some 22 years i was counted among these people! The prophecy from Isaiah rings even more true each and every single day!( Matt 13:13:14-15) Jesus has already done all he could do for all of us,there is no need to cry over stupidity,or the promise which was given as a result of one's own selfish will at times.

What should ring loud and clear for those who call themselves believers,is that they start acting like believers! ( Rom 13:11)Pointing fingers at others, as was done to me for there own self righteous pride sure never worked for me! So instead of pointing my fingers at others, i would rather open my arms to them, even as Jesus did me! One woman raised her voice and said to him( meaning Jesus) "Blessed is the womb that bore you( Mary) and the breasts at which you nursed" Jesus replied back to her!! " One the contrary!!!! Blessed are those who hear the Word of God and observe it!( Luke 11:27-28)

What is worse to be asleep in the dark,or asleep in the light? It is natural to be asleep in the dark,but what concern me the most today on my 62nd birthday,is so many asleep in the light! For light shines to wake people from the darkness,and to open the eyes of the blind so they may indeed see! And Jesus said to let your light shine so people can see Jesus in you!( Matt 5:13-16!!) We have a work to preform!!!( John 6:28-29!!) Believing brings about a work, an action to ones belief! We all!!!! Sisters and Brothers alike, all have a ministry!! Here is that ministry! ( 2 Cor 5:17-21!!!) If we are indeed reconciled to Jesus,then we follow his instruction in verse 19 to others!

For how can we point our fingers when Jesus himself open his arms to us even as he did the prodigal son!( Luke 15:11-32) Verse 31-32!!! THIS!!!!! is what a follower of Jesus offers! And we offer this through our very testimony of what our Jesus did for us!Hence why you have a testimony to start with!! How important is this testimony??? See for yourself!!( Mark 5:15-19!!!) Here is a man who wished to go with Jesus after Jesus cast out legion in him,I mean who would not wish to follow such a man!! But Jesus said no!!

Your testimony of my love to others is even more important then being with me! Verse 19! So we brothers and sisters are home,and are we reporting to others what Jesus has done for us??? ARE WE?? I encourage you all to work the very work of belief and tell them!! Have no fear!! Of course some will mock you, and make fun of you!! They sure have me!! LOL

For even as the promise of salvation is ours through our Jesus,also the promise of being hated by the world is to!!( John 15:18-21!!) Hence why we keep the armor of God always on!! ( Eph 6:10!!! ) he never says to take the armor off for very good reason! For weakness comes without HIS armor! Brothers and Sisters, we can no longer afford to become weak any longer in our belief! Others suffer as well! YOU MATTER!!! We need to act like we do!( 2 Cor 2:14-17!!!) verse 14 always leads us in Triumph!!! ALWAYS!! No matter how one feels!!

Sorry this is a bit long, but hey it is my birthday today,and the Lord in me is screaming at me to tell others what he is telling me!! LOL FOLLOW ME!! This is not a word,but an action of true belief!! Indeed Lord Jesus I receive and obey! Don't feel sorry for others,get with it yourself, is what Jesus has commanded me to do! He will work the rest out! After all it is not by my grace others receive him,it is rather by HIS grace others receive him! Just like I did!( Eph 2:4-10) And what does his grace do?? His grace instructs!!! Not judges others! ( Titus 2:11-12!!) Here ends our lesson.( Rom 2:1-5) VERSE 4!!! many churches have chosen the wrong path in there teaching!
