Last year My fifty-year-old son died of Massive Coronary Failure. Because he had become a Petty Thief that moved further and further away from his Christ-following daddy, I barely felt the sting of his soul burning forever in the Lake of Fire. This week, I lost one of my three grandsons to eating a bullet because he felt the sting of failure because he was not like his dad, the Special Forces, Black Ops Soldier.
There is a song, It Is Well With My Soul, written by a man as he passed over the watery grave of his two daughters. He made the trip to England to pick up his wife, the only family/survivor of the ship sinking. It does not remove the burning in my heart. It does give me the perfect example of how to live past the emotional pain of loss. I pray that people reading this do not cry for me but, know that this old combat veteran has already cried his heart out and is moving on to live the few years, weeks, or, hours I have before Yashua punches my ticket into Heaven.
If this helps a single soul. YHWH will have used me for good, once more. Remember, when the Devil strikes, sing.
