Is it wrong for a husband to lust after his own wife? The Bible tells us that being jealous is a sin, but God tells us he is a jealous God. The jealousy he talks about is being jealous over worship that belongs to him and him alone.

In that sense is lusting over your wife or husband a sin? Your are each others after all.

Thanks

"It is better to marry than to burn," says Paul.

Wanting your spouse is a positive thing and God designed it that way. There is a good and proper time for everything. There is a time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant, and a time to harvest, it says in Ecclesiastes.

There is a time to worship, a time to study the bible, pray, meditate.

There is a time to enjoy the companionship of your spouse and your alone time together. Marriage is a blessing.

Proverbs says, "He who finds a wife finds a good thing."

While I'm not married, I can't imagine that the burning feeling over your wife is lust. Actually, I think it just might be wrong to call it that because marriage and sexual companionship between a husband and wife is GOD's awesome gift after all. As long as Jesus is first in your life, I would think its fine and not lust.

As anything, pray for guidance by the Holy Spirit. All wisdom is found in GOD.

Sister Dreamer said it well. There is a time for everything. You know, the burning feeling might as well be from GOD. Perhaps He is helping you to procreate, or even enhance your relationship with your wife

Thats the answer I was looking for, but...

I dont have a wife, Im only 17

I just figured if I learn as much information as possible when Im at an age such as I am, then later on in life I can use this knowledge to better myself so to speak and wont make as many mistakes as I have been or potentially would of been making.

Thanks again though. God bless.
