Sadly, I'm no longer surprised to be reading such headlines, or articles.
It's a sad reality that man is going to do what they want to do despite what Scripture may say to the contrary.

The darkness of sin cannot so easily be cleansed from the imperfection that is humanity, by continuing to advance in technology, or anything else but the Blood of Lamb Jesus Christ, with the Word He has left us that continues to shout from its pages, and the mouths of the faithful upon the rooftops of this World. Quieter though they appear to be, also here lately.

However, it shouldn't stop us from praying that those so blinded may yet see His truth before the end of days, and also, for more Warriors of the Faith to lend voice to God's Saving Grace. For doing this reminds me of the devotional I had today, that reminded me of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego that though the end appeared imminent they still placed their faith where it belonged, and stayed faithful. So, our prayers Heavenward for the lost, though it appears that nothing will change.

sad to say, but there is only a small remnant to save, the vast majority are indeed lost but dont want to be discovered. Mankind loves sin and the easy way, not the hard journey with the cross upon them. Its finding the true lost christians and bringing them to salvation that is the hard part of the journey. Dont cast your pearls before swine. And Jesus makes it perfectly clear of what he desires from his followers: total dedication to him and the holy father, a complete rejection of the world and its systems and love, obedience and an acknowledgement of who mankind truly is. If your relying on the world, then your not part of Jesus flock, period.

Megan Rohrer (born April 3, 1980) is a female American pastor, bishop, and activist.
Rohrer (who uses gender-neutral singular they pronouns) is the first openly transgender minister to be ordained by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
On May 8, 2021, Rohrer was elected bishop of the Sierra Pacific Synod, becoming the first openly trans person to serve as bishop of a major U.S. Christian denomination.
On September 11, 2021, Rohrer was installed as Bishop.
Rohrer moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2002 to continue their studies. By this time they had come to identify as transgender.
Rohrer was ordained in 2006, becoming the first openly transgender person to be ordained by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
In 2010, Rohrer and six other Bay Area gay and transgender pastors were reinstated into the Evangelical Lutheran Church, after the national assembly voted to allow partnered gay people to serve as clergy.
The pastors' churches had previously been banned from the denomination for ordaining gay and lesbian ministers who refused to take vows of celibacy.
In 2017, Rohrer was hired by the San Francisco Police Department as their first chaplain from the LGBTQ community.

Rohrer, who has identified as lesbian, now reportedly identifies as non-binary and prefers to go by "they/them" pronouns.

One of the many pastors arrested protesting Prop 8, Pastor Megan has officiated at countless weddings for LGBT individuals before and after the marriages were legally recognized.
Pastor Megan lives near Golden Gate Park with their wife Laurel, two children, two cats and two hamsters.

She identifies as "they" - reminds me of Legion 'for we are many.'

Eunuchs are still men, and are regarded as men - they are not transgender nor they are not non-binary or whatever woke flavour is popular today.

Sure. Deuteronomy 23:1 says, “No one whose testicles are crushed or whose male organ is cut off shall enter the assembly of the Lord.”

So the Ethiopian Eunuch would have visited Jerusalem to worship, but not been permitted to enter the Temple Courts. According to the Torah, he was not to enter the assembly, and that was entirely due to his gender-ambiguous status.

So when he asks "Look, here is water. What can stand in the way of my being baptized?" Philip's answer could have been "many things!"

But of course, led by the Spirit, the Eunuch is baptised. It is isn't a barrier.
