Mark 12:30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.

What would it really look like if we were to really love God like that verse says....with all of our heart, soul, mind, strength? How would we treat others? How would it change our world view?

We would first be making the sincere effort to do the things which He says, if it be so that we truly did love Him with all our heart, soul, strength, and mind; because we would also be believing Him, and seek no longer our will, but His. As for treating others, we would volunteer humility, and regard and value others better than ourselves, which mind was also in Christ Jesus. As for seeing the world, we would be in agreement with the Lord Jesus Christ, that the works of the world are evil, and we would hate our life in this world; again, according to the Lord Jesus Christ, and not according to us.

I think our world view and treatment of others would be filled with so much more compassion and love for others it would be amazing. Loving God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength we would be built up and prepared to give out to others the same love God has for the world(not afraid to speak the name of Jesus and not debating in your mind"hmmm, I know this homeless person needs something....should I ask them now orrrr, ok I'll do it tomorrow .....I'm kind of busy now"). Also nothing else would matter, no distractions from the world, just Jesus ,Jesus, Jesus. HisFollower explained it well.

Sorry if rambled, sometimes its hard for me to put thoughts into words...lol
God bless

I believe if we truly loved God with all our heart, soul, mind, I believe we would love unconditionally. I believe we would gladly go to those places people dread, to reach those people that are deemed to be unreachable by human standards.
I believe the church would reach out to the hurting, the abused, the neglected, the divorced, the prostitutes, the alcoholics, those who have had abortions, and whatever else. But instead, the church as a whole, doesn't talk about issues, making those who suffer, have to suffer in silence. Or they are too afraid to seek help from the church because nobody talks about these things.
Jesus came to heal the sick. Thats what the church should be doing.
Giving money to missionaries is great. But what are you doing to reach the people in your neighborhood, in your city, in your family?
