Mark (of the Beast) on Your Calendar

Tuesday will be June 6, 2006–06-06-06–or, if you zap the zeroes, 666, the number of the Beast, the Antichrist, as described in the New Testament Book of Revelation:

"Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. “(13:18, KJV)

As God's Children, should It mean absolutely nothing as far as prophesy is concerned?

Don't come up with weird explanations and intepretation to God's word. Don't read between the lines. God has not given you a puzzle to solve. The prophecies in God's word are not to be intepreted as you solve a cross word. The Holy Spirit will give you the intepretation. Not men.

Man can come up with umpteen intepretations based on his wisdom.... which is foolishness to God. "man's wisdom is foolishness to God".

i've met a few in the chat room two months ago who were discussing about this date thing. I've warned them not to come up with a new doctrine.

Revelation 22:18,19 " I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book;
and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book."

Don't mess around with God's word. Live within the boundaries of God's word.

" ...that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,
but speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head - Christ.." Ephesians 4:14

God is good - All the time. Even on this particular date. "This is the day that the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24

And the devil is bad..... all the time. satan is the father of lies.

Choose for yourself what you'll believe in.

I agree completely with Gideon. That is called superstition too

The only date I care to mark is the COMING OF THE LORD!! Amen
