Memorial Day

As a Two Tour Vietnam Veteran for me it is not so much what I look to remember,but rather what I have become so very thankful for!!( 1 Thess 5:18) To think that after all I have have done, so many hurtful things to others, as well as to myself, Jesus would endure me long enough to reach WAY DOWN and bring me out of the very pit of destruction, out of the miry clay,and set my feet upon rock making my footsteps firm!( Psalm 40:1-3)

To take a demon out of me even as he did the man with legion and send me to testify what GREAT things the Lord has done for me and had compassion on me!( Mark 5:2-20!!) My charge as a soldier in Christ Jesus is to give the very same charge as Jesus gave me!( 2 Tim 4:1-5) For now over 32 years in Christ I stay instructed,I look at every area of my life now to be led of Holy Spirit( Rom 8:14-15)

I have not yet been perfected!( Phil 3:12-14). But like all of you we move forward! And will continue to always learn until the day we are called home,for freedom is based upon enduring,so that we learn truly what it means to overcome through our Jesus! We are a work in progress( Phil 1:6) IF!!!!! we continue in the faith!!( Col 1:23) WE SHALL!!! For we have come to far now in the race to ever give up! No matter what! ( Jude 1:24-25)!!

Bro. Bear, For me, as I can only speak for me brother,the war been won already by our Jesus.( Heb 4:11) Our rest from the war is knowing we in Christ are more then conquers.( Rom 8:37) ( 2 Cor 4:11-15) My battle daily is in not looking to entertain temptation in my mindset from my sorry flesh!( 2 Cor 10:3-11) Blessing brother

While we live there are still battles.....but the war is already won and the enemy defeated.
