WARNING: This is probably the worst Mac n cheese as far as healthy goes (And why my husband can't breathe when he puts his shoes on in the morning) but it sure is the most awesome gooey CHEESESY recipe!
Mere's Mac n Cheese
Ingredients:
1lb elbow noodles
8oz shredded cheddar cheese (divide in half)
8oz shredded Kraft touch of Philadelphia 3 cheese (divide in half)
8oz velveeta pkg
4oz cream cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup heavy cream
2 large eggs
1 tsp of salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp of minced garlic
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (if desired)
Directions:
Boil noodles until tender (I boil mine in milk because I think it makes it creamier)
Combine remaining ingredients (**EXCEPT 1/2 of shredded cheddar cheese & 1/2 of shredded 3 cheese) in a pot. Heat on medium, stirring frequently, until melted and pour over noodles in baking dish. Stir to make sure noodles are covered. Take remaining shredded cheeses and sprinkle on top.
Bake on 350 degrees for 40 - 45 min until bubbling
