would love to hear from people who have seen God given miracles in there own life. I do not need to know the miracle unless you want to share. I have heard some people say there are people on this forum who do not believe in God giving miracles, I do not believe there is one person who participates that does not believe in Miracles from heaven. If there is please let us know, I do not even need to know why, just curious ,, trying to get to know everyone a little better,

I myself have witness miracles from God in my life using my gifts in a way that is just so awesome only by the power of God could these things happen, so I believe in miracles today, and ask God to use me more then he has ever before in Jesus name I can do nothing good on my own.

how about you? believe or not?

Gal 3:5 Why does God give you his Spirit? Why does he work miracles among you? Is it because you do what the law says? Or is it because you believe what you have heard? (NiRV)

Because I believed that God can do miracles, I was blessed to witness several. Those with hard hearts will see few miracles, just like in Jesus's hometown.

On Friday this week, my wife received a call from her sister who lives in Walker California. She was very very upset because her 39-year-old daughter was released from the Hospital, they told her there was nothing more medical science could do to help her, and they recommended that she be put in hospice

" I can see why her mother was upset.
My wife and I knew we needed to go where they were which was 360 mile trip. When we got to my sister in laws daughter's house and went inside there were no happy faces there except a young 10-year-old boy. He smiled the whole time we were there. It was almost like he knew something we didn't.

My wife and I told her that she needed Jesus in her life, and she agreed without question as her life was very near the end. I told her a lot of people hear about Jesus and just know yep, Jesus died for the world, but never encounter him as Lord to them. She said she wanted Jesus to be in her heart but did not know how to do it. I quoted a few scriptures so she would have faith to believe and then we prayed with her.
Next I showed her a scripture that says, "Is any sick amount you let them call for the elders of the Church, and let anoint them with oil praying over them, and the prayer of faith will save the sick, and if they have committed any sins it shall be forgiven them."

OK "Cayla" let us be obedient to God and do what this scripture says. My wife and I prayed for her anointing her with oil, and when we were done her face had completely changed, and she was smiling even all of her 5 children were also there. Did she get instantly healed? I don't know as we did not hang around to see. I used my faith in coming to her and now it was up to her faith to hold fast to the faith that she received by hearing the Gospel.

The next day an 85-year-old man heard about what happened to Cayla and he wanted to receive Jesus too. We went over to his house and I said to "Bob" what was this man's name. I said, "Bob, people who have eternal life only have it because of God's "grace" Saved by grace through faith......
I told Bob "grace" is God giving you something that you do not deserve, but to get "grace" requires you to have faith. Dont worry Bob because faith to get saved does not come from you, it only comes by hearing the Gospel

I quoted to Bob Romans 10:9-10. Bob, now you have faith to believe not in your head, but in your heart. There were five other people there so we all knelt prayed and asked Jesus to forgive us of our sins and we believed Jesus was raised from the dead. Bob had tears in his eyes when we were done.
The same day my wife I and went back home rejoicing all the way home that the Lord allowed us to be a co-worker together with Him in what he had done.

To me, and my wife we saw two miracles....

The only problem i have seen here at Talk Jesus is the limited faith. I've had some people actually tell me that what I consider Miracles are not Miracles because they're not "big enough" to be miracles. I know, it sounds kind of stupid but that's what the response was when I was talking about the Little Miracles that would take place in my Dad's life or actually in my own too but I didn't know that that was going on when my dad and mom would go and do performances at nursing homes for the elderly.

The person I was talking to didn't consider a person who was an atheist and through a number of events became a Christian, that wasn't a miracle "enough" for that person.

I guess it all is based on what we perceive to be miracles versus what others think Miracles are.

Think of it like tithing. There are some people that tithe out of abundance, and there are others who ties because it is asked of you even though they do not have that kind of abundance and it's actually a challenge for them to give that 10% out of their income.

Jesus also shares this when he talks about the rich politician who gave from his abundance and the woman that gave from all she had.

So there are some who received Little Miracles that are profound for that person, and for others those Little Miracles seem like nothing. Because they want to see the big miracles of walking on water or a car floating across the sky or some ridiculous thing. When we cannot handle the little things, the Whispering Wind that comes into our lives.

When I was a young boy, my mom and dad would take my brother and myself on these trips to nursing homes and retirement homes and so on. Sometimes to the places where mental patients were. And they would put on a show called Musical Memories.

They had friends of theirs who were all sorts of musicians, I remember one lady who really played a lot of Ragtime on the piano. And I can tell you that piano was jumping. There were puppet plays, and of course my brother and I were "encouraged" lol, to be involved with a lot of things.

My dad sang in the Opera when he was younger the light operas, Naughty Marietta, Rose Marie, Babes in Toyland and others. He had a beautiful bass baritone voice. And sometimes he would have friends of his who are also in the Opera join him, they never needed microphones for their voices to carry throughout the auditoriums that they sang in.

My mother was a music teacher, and of all the instruments that she really enjoyed, it was the marimba. Kind of like a wooden xylophone. And it can't get wet otherwise it ruins the keys that are played on with mallets.

My parents offered all of their work and they're singing and everything else up to the Lord. It was their gift to Him for everything. My parents never asked a dime for all of the performances everything everyone did was for free.

The marimba was interesting like I said it can't get wet, so my dad, the first time it rained, said to the Lord, " you know that we do all this in your name in Praise of you, could you stop it from raining when we load and unload the instrument from the station wagon"?

Every single time it rained as soon as we moved the marimba from the house to the station wagon it would stop. I have seen thunderstorms pouring rain come to a complete stop, while we loaded the marimba into the vehicle. And as soon as the last piece went into the car. Then it started pouring again.

Now I personally don't really care if anyone here does not consider that a miracle and all the other times included but for me that was definitely a miracle and I know for my parents it was too. I cannot tell you how many times I mean we're talking hundreds of times over a number of years that it would be raining and it would completely stop while we loaded the marimba or unloaded it and then when the last piece was safe then it would start raining again.

The Lord performed a miracle in our lives (daddy and me), after my mom passed away two years ago. It’s difficult to explain but let’s just say that our collective prayers were answered and life’s much better for us now.

A miracle that most would discount is real to me, once I was able to stand with my arms out and my right hand got wet and my left hand didnt. It had started raining, and we were right on the edge of the rainstorm. That only happened twice in my life. My wife was struck by lightning twice when she was a child and survived. Like Bill, there have been times that I prayed that it wouldnt rain so that I could get under cover, because it had started to rain. It stopped after my prayer and started again once I was under cover. Other times when it would start to rain, I asked God if He could keep it light rain until I could complete a task and get under cover. It only rained very lightly till I got under cover and then it just poured buckets. There are a few more of them, I havent written them all down, and I have a poor memory, but there had to be at least 6-12 more of them.

My wife & I and her family flew out to texas to see the eclipse.

The clouds parted for about 4 minutes, during the 3 minutes of totality, and the sun did not come out for the rest of the day. Most of the other people around us in that town didn't get to see it. So I was thankful the Lord heard my prayers.

I've not had many significant physically provable miracles.
I have sensed a common cold coming on, and rebuked the virus... and was left wondering if i was actually sick... then a cold sore shows up a week later as evidence of a suppressed immune system... but i had no physical feeling of being sick and no loss of energy.
