I have heard many say Contemporary Christian Music is bad. I haven't read anyone say "some is bad" but usually those who say it's wrong throw all of Contemporary Christian Music in the same pile. So my question is:

1| What is ok to listen to if not modern Christian music that glorifies God, then what else?

2| Is Modern Worship ok?

3| What scripture, if any and if there is any grounds for talking about this, do you have that says instruments to worship God with are wrong?

I am just a little confused on TJ's stance. Thanks for your replies in advanced :)

If Christian music is so bad, then why are there so many Christian Music artists qith so many Christian fans?

I don't think it's bad, as long as they spread powerful messages about God that are true.

I hear what your saying, however you can have the strongest message out of anyone but if you go up on stage like Jakie Velásquez and have dancers in pretty much there underwear, I think you put Jesus to an open shame, having a form of godliness but denying its power. For sake of still wanting to understand, I will wait for more replies.

I see no problem with modern worship music.

I'm a worshipper and God is the giver of talents,
if he blesses John with the ability to play the electric guitar and susan the drums, and they both choose to use their musical talent to praise God, who am I to say it's not acceptable.

There was instruments back then.
1 Samuel 10:5 (KJV)
5After that thou shalt come to the hill of God, where is the garrison of the Philistines: and it shall come to pass, when thou art come thither to the city, that thou shalt meet a company of prophets coming down from the high place with a psaltery, and a tabret, and a pipe, and a harp, before them; and they shall prophesy:

1 Chronicles 16 1-7
The Ark Placed in the Tabernacle
1 So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tabernacle that David had erected for it. Then they offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before God. 2 And when David had finished offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD. 3 Then he distributed to everyone of Israel, both man and woman, to everyone a loaf of bread, a piece of meat, and a cake of raisins.
4 And he appointed some of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, to commemorate, to thank, and to praise the LORD God of Israel: 5 Asaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah, then Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, and Obed-Edom: Jeiel with stringed instruments and harps, but Asaph made music with cymbals; 6 Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests regularly blew the trumpets before the ark of the covenant of God.
7 On that day David first delivered this psalm into the hand of Asaph and his brethren, to thank the LORD:

Some might argue, those instruments are different from the modern ones. But as time goes by things are updated, long ago the disciples travelled by foot to share the gospel, Does this mean we should give up modern day technology because it was not around OT or NT times ?

If the music or the message does not line up with the bible..then you have a problem.

Are you talking about Music ( instruments ) or the singers ?
Because they can be broken into 2 agruments.
