Not long ago I read Monday Morning Faith by Lori Copeland which both inspires and informs although it is basically a work of fiction. This fascinating story involves a young woman librarian who decides to join her future husband (who is a medical doctor) and others on a mission trip of some weeks time spent in a remote jungle village. Besides being inspirational it is exciting and includes a love story within the context of her journey and what she learns from the experience. So enjoyable that I never even checked to see how many pages I had left to read because I was through it before I knew time had passed. Just kept picking up the book to see what would happen next and finished it within a few days.

Especially anyone who has ever been a missionary in a remote place or anyone who has ever aspired to this there is much food for the heart here. And for those of us who like a story of romance and/or adventure it does just fine too. Lori Copeland, the author, is a Christian who uses her talents to bless all. Her books are full of compassion, humor, and adventure. I recommend this one to anyone who wants a good Christian book to read.
