1/ Covid-19. I'm sure you've heard of it. It's a disease that's infected 279m and killed more than 5m people.
2/ people have always started to follow and then turned away from God - even during Jesus' ministry and the growth of the early church (John 6:66 From that time on many of His disciples turned back and no longer walked with Him). The parable of the sower also addresses it.
Nope - can't say it ever made much difference - other than a lack of "Convenience". I still went to work every day, ate lunch at whatever restaurants were open, and went to church when they were legally permitted to open, and watched the services on TV when they weren't. Can't say that MY life, or the family's life changed much at all, not did most of society here in South Dallas. I got vaxxed when it became available, and didn't have much concern about getting sick (never did). Everyboidy I knew personally who got sick, just got better.

faith, it depends on which way the wind is blowing.
But "HOPE" holds on, No matter which way The WIND BLOWS and no matter how DARK IT gets it will HOLD ON. And when the WATERS come. For this ANCHOR RUNS DEEP! For HE is The ANCHOR of [our] MY SOUL! and HE Holds the LIne TIGHT!

dont believe the lies about people dieing and infected. And just because people left the church in ancient times, doesnt excuse them from doing it now.

I don't believe the lies. I know many people who have been infected, some with mild symptoms, some severe, and some who have died. What I see in my own neighbourhood matches what I read about the global situation.
