Hello Cody. Pleased to hear of your Christian Music study. Music, singing praises to the LOrd is somthing that has been associated with God from the dawn of time. Job 38 v 4 - 7 "the morning stars sang together when the world was made"

I am of the belief that Christian songs which magnify and lift up Jesus, "He is the Lord and He reigns on high" and such, bring the victory of Jesus, His triumphing over all our foes, into our experiences.
The Psalms cover all experiences and all the emotion of human life. All of which found relief in the song unto the LOrd.
