music today has sexuall words and that is something nobody should take in.if u r a child,or have a child.or even a adult.u should listen to christian filled songs like jeremy camp,matt redmen,ect. make sure u know what u r listenin to so that u can prais the lord in songs of joy.the bible says that the lord is present when u sing and all that stuff imagine what is present when u sing bad songs that u know u shouldn't be listenin to. :shade:

okay i dont think that all music thats in the radio is bad....!!!
im the person who listens to bout everything also christian music!!
and i see no problem what so ever listening to "worldly"music!!
yeah okay u might not be able to praise god with those songs..
but hey does that mean u cant listen to
lets see Stacie Orrico or so..
her songs r in the radio...
but o well thats what i think....
i mean i dont see no problem in listening to that kinda music....

To listen, or not to listen.. that`s the problem.

Yeah, that is a hard issue to me, because I love rap music and metal/rock and so.. many times the rythm or sound, you could say, is just awesome, it`s just the words I disagree on.. sometimes even the lyrics or the message is good, it`s just all the strong words that could have been left out or replaced by more appropriate ones that start bugging.. those actually don`t so much themselves make my stomach crumble, it`s just the fact that you start questioning, wether or not it is ok to listen such kind of music, conserning the fact that you`re a believer.. but still, even if you disagree with the words, the music in itself can be brilliant and something worth supporting on.. I don`t know.. a hard issue indeed. Choir music just isn`t my cup of tea, and there aren`t that many artists in those music genres that I like, which would be heartfilled christians putting out a good message.. hopefully one day I could be one of those myself.

I have to disagree here. You disagree with the words but you will listen to them? - your body as a Christian is the temple of the Holy Spirit who dwells in you. Are you comfortable knowing that the Holy Spirt is living in you and you are feeding him these messages? There is plenty of good Christian music out there - all Christian music isn't choir music. There is such a diversity that there must be some there to suit your tastes.

i agree totally.....if it's not about God it's not worth listening too....
that was part of the change in me when I got saved....and get this one >>>>>>>>> got rid of my tv 7 years ago....
if you get saved and no changes take place in your life did you truely get saved?
