Musical talent...

I have so many Christian brothers who can play the piano so well... I'm almost jealous...

Sometimes our worship songs sound a lil different each time because they actually improvise them! x_x; And they all somehow have really good relative pitch ::sighs:: Seems like they can just play any song if they hear it just once. And they're usually only like...around 16 or 17 years old x.x;;

Blah, so jealous xP Wish I had that kind of talent too.

me to Hakkiri, i want to play like that as well but for me it will take a few years, but still a person can just try and learn.

my husband plays piano very well. and my son is now learning guitar. Is not it wonderful? yeah, I want to learn it. But may be not in my life time. But ofcourse in heaven we all sing and play guitars. Praise God

Hello, ussually teenagers around 17-18 that are really good in music start early as kids. My cousin plays so good and he started early. I started learning and I am going to continue soon. well I do have musical talent but yes, sometimes i wish i was so much better

Hakkira God gave you your own unique talents, sometimes I wish I could play soccer like my friend Danny but then I remember that I can beat him in knock out any day. I can sing,play basketball,dance. If you think of all the things you can do, you won't have enough time to think of what you can't. God knows what talents are best for each person.

To the first post. I have perfect pitch and I can tell you that it doesnt suddenly make you great. Its merely another tool. If you want to be the best you have got to push yourself, not to compete with others, but just for the challenge. You have to want it more than anything else in the whole world. Anybody can do it. Improvising comes from good theoretical knowledge and just understanding how you feel and putting the two together. Its human nature to want to compete, but dont be jealous, use it as a boost to move to the next level. Anything someone else can do, can be done by everyone else, and therefore bettered. However, I do believe we all have skills that stand out, but anybody can do anything regardless of "natural ability". I live to defy that belief and I stand by my words. Organisation, discipline and willpower in the mould of the blitzkrieg can overcome anything. Have faith in yourself, work hard and be quick to spot and adapt to changes and you can do anything my friends. More important is to be humble, or else you are a lost cause. With that I bid thee good 'morrow, tis my bed time and my pillow awaits...laters *wavie*

Hello Hakkiri,I am up in the middle of the night learning a to play a tune.For me it`s very difficult remembering the notes.But when I eventually play the tune it`s very satisfying .I think that one day I shall play really well.But it`s like everything you need time to practise.But if I never become good at the piano at least playing a tune makes me glad.Especially ones like Amazing grace which directs my thoughts to Jesus.

well I must say that God gave me a nice voice tough...
My point is that I know what its like.. jeje

We'reall different like someone said... And yeah, we all have to realize that we are talented. You just need to find out what's your talent and use it.
Pray if you don't know what it is.
Just don't be jealous, I'm sure there are things that you do that other pleople can't.
let's find ourselves wonderful in what we are, Sons of God, and use everything we are for His glory.

God created us so special and He has given us a talent. everyone has a special talent and we must glorify Thy name by this. Every one of us is talented people.
