Like many in the military, I didn't know a lot about them or that religion. We did get classes and briefings in preparation for a deployment. During my first one, I got curious. Many of them know good English. One translator (young female) wanted to leave the country. She hated it. She worked for us but lived on base as if one of their "people" saw her they'd kill her. IDK what happened to her.
During that same deployment. Saddam was found and hung. There was so much celebratory gunfire you could hear the rounds hit the ground like rain. I met one man who he and his family were well off (not elite or super rich) before Saddam came to power. One of the leads at a local water plant to bring in dirty water and clean/make it drinkable. Saddam brought in his own people and fired him and most of the staff then limiting who and how much water was given. This forced people to get dirty water out of rivers and boiling isn't enough. He thanked us and told us how he and most who lost their jobs had them back and the plant was working again.
I've done so many hours of study and research on Islam and Muslims. Very few will tell you the truth. Some of them are here and have abandoned Islam and their people for many good reasons.
- It is not a religion of peace.
- Women are property as are children until a certain age I think.
- The burka is NOT a sign of religious devotion. It is forced upon Muslim/Arabic women. Look at the Islamic Revolution and the time before it.
- Some have sex with animals. On guard duty one night, a fellow soldier who is a Drone Operator told me what he saw and showed me on the control display.
- Lots of gay sex. Women are for breeding (mostly) and men/boys are for "pleasure". Those two men were not only having sex with a goat but each other.
- They don't spank their children. They full on hit them with a fist or a slap.
- Ramadan. We drove through it and as part of some "rite" they bloody (not fatal) the pre-teens.
- They will hurt their own people. As a Medic our platoon provided medical care and medicines to the people who most can't get it.
- al-Jazeera has plenty of evidence on what Islam and Muslims are
Their "god" is known as The Great Deceiver. We know that Jehovah is not a deceiver. Who is? Satan.
Islam came from Ishmael's line. Ishmael got so butthurt b/c he wasn't given his "birthright".
He was the first born but he was born out of sin and disobedience. God didn't abandon him and blessed him in a way but the anger and butthurt consumed him resulting in the man-made creation of Islam by one of his descendants. An angry, narcissistic, evil, pedo murderer.
A small number have escaped that evil cult. I doubt anyone here will ever run into one of them but the rest will LIE to your face.
