Muslims attack Christians on New Years service, Egypt.

Yes very sad. This along with the African countries that had attacks on worshipers at Christmas time and all the persecution in Iraq against Christians. It is all pointing to an increase in persecution Jesus warned us about.

These news articles are only a tip of the iceberg of persecution to come. We should all be prepared to stand firm in Christ no matter what comes against us while we are still here on Earth. I often pray now for God to help His children stand firm in our faith even when faced with physical attacks, jail or death. It is easy to say I am Christ's while living in safety but will we still stand when threatened in this way?

May God help His children all stand firm in Jesus no matter what. Amen

These muslims are just a bunch of typical muslim cowards with no fear of GOD, delusional to the extreme and no respect for others' belief. They do not care.

I just pray the Christians stand strong in faith and let the light of Christ shine through the darkness of these pathetic muslims.

This was a tragic event that should have never taken place. My heart goes out to all the people affected, and I sincerely hope that justice will be dealt.

However, to call it an attack by a "bunch of typical muslim cowards" is taking it to the extreme. Yes, these people were cowards and murderers. Yes, these people were muslims.
But to say that this is typical of the Muslim peoples is just wrong.

A terrorist organization killed innocent people because they had distorted views of the world around them. This does not arise from their religion; it is just insanity under the guise of righteousness.

Most Muslims, like most Christians/Politicians/Humans are moderate in nature, and peace loving... it's just the crazy ones that get on the news.

(Reuters) - A bomb killed at least 21 people outside a church in the Egyptian city of Alexandria early on New Year's Day and the Interior Ministry said a foreign-backed suicide bomber may have been responsible.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Eph 6:12-13

I do agree. As children of a merciful and loving Lord we ought to pray for these people....both the victims and the wrongdoers.... and let God work in their lives. And we must rest in the knowledge that the Lord is always in control and that judgment day will come.... there are double blessings for those who are wronged, and eternal punishment for those who are wrong!

The thing is, this is not the first time this happened, it happens at LEAST 2-3 times every year. Last year they shot 7 young men on Christmas service, just as they were leaving church.

More killings have been going on in Iraq too, they are killing a lot of the Christians there.

It's easier to love and forgive Muslims when you live in a country like the US (We're sheltered by the US basically), and while we as Christians hope that everyone could get saved, this isn't realistic and it won't happen, some people are suppressing the truth and will never even let you preach to them, and like it says in revelations, some day the wrath of God will lavish on them.

People in Egypt are mostly muslim and there concern for christian are minimum. This is an outrageous and I hope they treat people equally.

My friend, you have obviously not read the Koran which is a book of deceit lies.
Muslims are killing people in every corner of the globe as we speak. Perhaps you should spend some time on the Voice of the Martyrs website which chronicles this widespread murder of believers.
There are two main facts here:
1. the are more people being martyred for their Chritian faith today than at any time in history.
2.If the majority (over 0ne billion people) were truly peaceful they would actively suppress this type of behavior but as a general rule it is not happening.

As a Christian it is easy for me to see that anything that denies Jesus as the Christ and the Savior is damning millions to hell. This homicide is but fruit of the same tree.

Joh 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Important update for one wanting to know the core values of a regular Muslim.
Just go to"YouTube" and type, 3 things about islam.

This may clear up any misunderstanding one may have.

Ever since this happened, I've reading on the Koran, A LOT, I actually got obsessed with reading, and one question remains.

How do you believe in Islam, after reading the Koran!!???

If someone say they're strong believers in Islam, they definitely never read the Koran!

The whole time I was reading parts of it, I couldn't even believe it!

IF I was a muslim, I'd have most definitely doubted my beliefs.

Most are taught to memorize it starting at age 6 or seven.
