My Family Is Under Attack

I know that as christians, the devil loves to give us toil and trouble. But this last week or so....has been nothing but trouble. My ex-husband (who has a history of kidnapping, and a history of getting away with whatever he wants), is coming to visit on the 16th or 17th of October.

He seems to think he can walk in here and get not only my daughter back, but me, as his wife. That is how sick he is.

My hubby and I argue, and argue even worse than usual, which is pretty bad.
I can feel the devil in this house. I can feel the devil at my throat. This family is under attack, and I'm not going to take it anymore!

Jesus has a plan through this, and it's not for ex to get my daughter, but for my daughter to be strengthened as she sees her father for who he really is.
I pray that my husband, daughter, son and I stay together as a strong family for Christ, and that satan's plans will be completely thwarted in Jesus name.
That my husband will learn to be the right kind of step-dad. That I will learn to forgive him daily and be a good wife, instead of resentful and petty. Please pray for us. Thanks.

Life can be very difficult I am sure, in the circumstances you mention......Keep up a good spirit... Let righteousness arise. Let your goodness of character shine through. You have to move forward.

Sometimes as Christians.........we have no past...in that it is under His blood......and gone.......But we do have a future. Amen and that is where our thoughts lie.

God Is So Good

I'm doing a little better today---thanks to prayers of friends. I need to keep my mind focused on the Scriptures and keep my focus on God. He's so loving and powerful. Sometimes I focus on the chaos and trouble around me and take my eyes off of Him, and become afraid and hopeless.

God is so good!

You and family are in my prayers, sister. I know you have faced this before, take courage and remember God's faithfulness. Trust in our Father who sees everything. Do not worry or fret.
A must read during this time is Psalm 91, It is power filled and I pray that every word in every verse will bring you comfort.

verse 10 " then no harm will befall you,
no disaster will come near your tent"

I will also pray for your ex. He needs prayer too, for his salvation, may the Lord take away the scales from your ex-husband's eyes, that he may see his sin and surrender his life to Christ.
