My nephew is intrigued with a demonic Nintendo game, help!

Good morning my brothers and sisters. It is with my upmost grief that media has been on its devil worshipping period once more. My nephew was watching one of those gaming conventions for all new upcoming videogames known as “E3” and he was currently watching one for Nintendo.
I thought to myself that it was all fine, Nintendo was always kid friendly and their games for the most part were inoffensive. Then I saw an announcement trailer for “Shin Megami Tensei V”
At first it looked like a harmless school simulator set in Japan, but then it started to show a post apocalyptic world where demons roamed about. Not only that you “fuse” with a demonic figure and become a half human half demon monstrosity. Your character even has some disgusting androgyny where you can’t even tell if it’s a boy or a girl!
It only gets worse my friends, you actually side with the demons as they fight alongside you, and the “angels” in this game are seen as the real bad people, even made to look like they’re blind followers. I was absolutely outraged as I took away my nephew’s phone and started to look into this “Shin Megami Tensei” and it is indeed a horrible franchise full of games that make it seem so cool and normal to start siding with the demons, having kids indoctrinated into a war against Angel and order, and each game has you kill a representation of our holy lord as the final boss. What has happened to videogames? They used to be harmless fun, and now they’re pandering to satanists while indoctrinating kids into buying it because “ohhh the demons are so cool!”

I hope you will find fellowship, and growth in God's Word while you are here.

Not surprisingly Nintendo has opened itself to this type of topic in gaming. RPG type games have been around a while now, and cover myriad of subjects that are not healthy for children. That is why it is important that parents be close to their children, and involved in what their activities are, both online, and Socially. Exposing them to Godly topics of study is also important, and probably more so now then ever before, because of this exact thing that you have posted here. As Proverbs 22:6 says "Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it."

Some of the secular forums online are culture shocks too... Just important to guard the heart even when desiring evangelism. Not everyone is seasoned for "street ministry." Just heavy heart to see how some view God/blaspheme God. Balance in ministering to those without Christ. Even games can be an outreach to teens and things, but it is important not to compromise the Word in the process. Then there is not becoming a pharisee too. Lord, give me wisdom/discernment.
