Hello Porklion

The God of all of our comfort is found in 2 Corinthians 1:

3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,

4who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

5For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.

6If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer.

7And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort.

My prayers are for you and your wife. I know that I cannot relate to your hurts. But I had a lot of struggles and questions. He has comforted me then and taught me - to reach those who are afflicked the same way I was but who are struggling. To show them there is a strength and a hope in our Lord Jesus Christ

Also in Psalm 34 it says:

17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them;
he delivers them from all their troubles.

18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

19 A righteous man may have many troubles,
but the LORD delivers him from them all.

May He bring comfort and strength to you both. Lean and trust in Him to reveal His purpose. God bless.

Love,
Snowrose

Porklion this is the verse God has given me for you too. 18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
My prayers are with you and your wife. Know that God is with you - Psalm 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble." He is indeed our refuge and our strength. He is with you and will never leave you. No one knows like the Father does what it is like to lose a son. He knows exactly what you are going through. Lean on Him during this time.

When this happened they asked me if I wanted someone to call my pastor. They called him and he said that he tried to call but couldnt get tru. Which I belive. I called him the next moring and he told me to call him when we got home. My wife doesnt want to call. I just wish he would of came to counsel her. Am I being unfair to him for felling this way ?

Hello porklion,

You are not being unfair for telling your pastor. He will then know how to prayer. For wife, she needs time to grieve. She will know when she is ready to talk to the pastor. Just give it time. In Ecclesiastes 3: 1 - its says "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven". She just needs time to heal and then she will be able to take the next step.

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." - Deuteronomy 31: 6

Please be assured that we are praying for you both and you can even PM us if you need to talk. God Bless.

Love,
Snowrose

Dear Porklion, may God give you and your wife the comfort you need right now. I too lost kids when my wife had a miscarriage after 5 months. In fact, we lost a set of twins.

When I get depressed about it, I think of the two angels I have in heaven. Perhaps they have met your son also.

God bless.

Porklion, you could speak to your pastor for your own sake, and your wife can talk to him when she feels ready. You too need to grieve and need support, then you will be able to help your wife too.

May the good Lord console your family and bless you. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
