One thing that has troubled me recently is the fact that more and more churches are beginning not only to believe but to vote to include in their denominational constitutions what is called "Replacement Theology".

As Christians we believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac,and Jacob. God changed Jacob's name to Israel. In the Old testement when the children of Israel is mentioned, this is who it is referring to. So many church people are oblivious to this.

Its hard for me to undertand that some who name the name of Chirst think the church of the New Testament has replaced Israel and have such a hatred for them. They think God will never have anything to do with the people of Israel again because they rejected Him. Thats where Christianity came from - our Judeo-Christian heritage. Jesus was Jewish - King of the Jews, and a Rabbi in fact. The disciples were Jewish. So I don't understand how poeple can hate the Jews and say they love Jesus. Some say its because they killed Him. But they are only listening to religious, man made doctrines and are not hearing what the Word of God says. Jesus said no man takes His life. He laid it down for us. (John 10:17-18). This was God plan of salvation for us.

Even though they rejected Him, He will give His chosen people one last chance to come to Him. In fact many Jewish people now believe that Jesus Christ (Yeshua) is their Lord and Saviour (Messiah). Soon the rest will have their eyes opened to the truth and 144.000 of them will preach the gospel in all the earth. It will happen sooner than you think. The Bible tells us God made a covenant with them and He will never break it. We are to love them, bless them and pray for them.


Gen.17:5Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

6And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.

7And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

8And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.



Gen. 12:2And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

3And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

The Jews at one time enjoyed a favoured relationship with God.They did play a huge part in the death of his son and so lost that priviledge.It was not the Romans or any other gentiles who sought to endlessly debate the word with Jesus,it was the Jewish leaders.They completely failed to see who was on their own doorstep.

Having said that it is only as a nation that they lost their standing.As individuals we are all equal in approaching God,regardless of our nationality.I suppose many Jews still put a stumbling block in front of themselves in failing to recognise the validity of Jesus coming and holding on to defunct customs from the mosaic law.On the other hand it was recently explained to me the growth of messianic Jews and what they stand for so perhaps the tide is turning for them.To state you hate anyone, jew or otherwise ,shows you as an individual who as failed to grasp an understanding of the word and is undeserving of Gods precious gifts.

These church doctrines and theologies are dangerous because they appear to be truth but in fact are deception, as the Lord warned about those coming who say He is Christ but deceive.

Israel is very special to God! He has said things in the Scriptures concerning them that illustrates His great loves and heart breaks with these peoples. Now that the Nation is established again is even a fulfillment of Scripture and when the nations gather against Her the Lord will fight Her battle, setting the Earth afire in His Wrath, and they will look upon the One they have pierced long ago.

The Jews, Romans, and many other gentiles did debate Jesus the Messiah. It continues today in every nation and people throughout the world.

You see it's not about nationality or culture its attitude or mindset, and America is at the forefront today. God help us all.

is actually referring to a "church" type doctrines.

The salvation of God is open to all whom will believe. Jews included. So the premise that they have been "replaced" is false because it indicates that the jews have been discarded and have no way back to a relationship with the God of Abraham.

I believe God will in the end times save a remnant of those Jews who will not accept the Messiah Jesus. But i also think that they will be Children 144,000 of them. 12,000 from every tribe.

But for Jews today will have no relationship with The God of Abraham until they say " Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord "

Matthew 23
37 " O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! 38 "See! They cannot be saved unless they receive Yeshua as Messiah just as we recieve Him. They are still Jewish but that doesnt necessarily mean they worship exactly like some of our churches. Still there is only one way for salvation. Jesus said HE was the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Acts 4:12Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Col.1: 13Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:15Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

I agree with you. replacment theology is widespread and certainly not backed up by New Testament scripture.

At the moment, because of God's grace and mercy, we are going through the "time of the Gentiles" (Romans 11:25) but a time is coming when we will see the Jews returning to true faith in God. Read Romans chapter 11!!!

Also the Jews did not kill Jesus. Jesus died for the sins of the world. Every sinner is responsible for Jesus death. It was part of God's wonderful plan of redemption.

Also the first several thousand Christians were all Jews, including many Jewish priests!

So the Word of God spread. The number of disciples in Jerusalem increased rapidly and a large number of priests became obedient to the faith. Acts 6:7

Im sorry if i appear stupid but i dont understand the veiws of people in a lot of the above threads.The bible tells us the jews played a large part in jesus death.They are no longer his "chosen people".Salavation is available to all mankind regardless of his nationality,no one has preference over anybody else.End of story.

A lot of the end time prophecies in Daniel, Ezekiel, and Revelation all revolve around Israel. They are His chosen people, He is waiting for them to return to Him. Jews are accepting Him in more numbers than ever before. We as Gentiles have been adopted in to the kingdom. When you take this concept into account. You need to take the whole Bible into account. God always makes a way of escape for His people. And He is still giving Israel a chance to accept Him. I have a few friends who are Jews who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. 20 years ago when I got saved most of the Jews who I knew who converted were because they met a wife or husband who was CHristian and converted for them. Not today the Jewish friends I have accepted Jesus, because they were witnessed to and heard the truth. In Philadelphia there is a church that the whole church are Jews for Jesus. Why do you think the end time events are all set in Israel. Because He is not only waiting for the us gentiles, but also for His chosen people. He even gives a exact number in Revelation. We need to love the Jews and to continue to witness the love of Jesus to them.

Replacement theology is very dangerous(as is dispensationalism). Isreal has not been replaced, but the gentiles have been grafted in see John 15.
Also there now is neither jew, nor greek; only those who are in Christ and those who are not. Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Salvation is for anyone whosoever will believe on Him. But God chose the Jewish people to spread the gospel right at the first and also at the last of the last days which is quickly approaching. He said the gospel is to first be preached to the Jews then after that the gentiles. Jesus was born into the Jewish race and was King of the Jews. They are called His people many places. in hte Bible Its not that they are better than anyone else but they have a special task God wants them to do.

Thankyou evangeline,i read both scriptures including the surrounding verses and im still not sure.When you read it in context it still does not feel like a title Jesus used himself.A king he certainly was,king of the jews im just not sure?
